You will need to reschedule and may lose the deposit for the required consultation for new clients. The consultations are mandatory to start laser or skincare treatments and take additional time. Please avoid prolonged sun exposure five days before and five days after your laser hair removal appointment.
Please refrain from applying makeup on the treatment areas because makeup residue can absorb the laser's energy and damage the skin.
Please refrain from using lotion, creams, fragrances, makeup, or deodorant the day of, on the treated area. We can provide an opportunity to remove lotion, creams, fragrances, makeup, and deodorant before your treatment.
Please refrain from using sunless tanner for a week before treatment.
Please give the treated area a close shave within 24 hours of your appointment. A close shave will decrease pain and increase treatment effectiveness.
Please bring in a list of any medications that you are taking. Photosensitive medications are contraindicated for laser hair removal.
Please bring a list of any topical treatments, including skin care products, that you apply to the treatment areas.
Savvy's laser targets pigments and only works on darker hair follicles on lighter skin tones. It doesn't work on blonde, red, gray, or white hair follicles because of not enough pigment. It also will not work on darker skin tones because of too much pigment.
