Must purchase one certificate per participant (or boat for captained cruise) unless otherwise described (e.g. "try sail for two"). Return Policy: No refunds or returns on services after purchase. You (the "client") is responsible for coordinating with Northern Virginia Sailing School, LLC ("NVSS") to schedule purchased service(s). If purchased service is an instructional class or series of classes, then service purchased must be completed within the sailing season (April 15, 2024 to November 1, 2024) of purchase date or the client may be subject to additional fees such as additional lessons, processing fees, materials, and testing fees at the discretion of NVSS. Sailing months are considered to be from April 2, 2024 to October 31, 2024 for the 2024 sailing season.

Your class may be canceled, at the discretion of the school, due to inclement weather or wind that exceeds the safe sailing thresholds of the sailboats. If you need to cancel or reschedule for personal reasons, you may do so prior to 24 hours before the class, otherwise there is a cancelation fee.
