I agree to: Integrated Life Management® Client Coaching Agreement
Welcome to coaching!! We are very happy to have you as a client. It is important to begin the coaching relationship with a clear understanding about our work together, so that we can focus on achieving the outcomes you desire. Please read the agreement carefully.
Definition of Coaching: Coaching is a professional partnership in which you work together with a coach to clarify areas that you would like to improve and in which you would like to work toward achieving your desired outcomes. Coaching is distinct from consulting in that your coach will help you come up with your own answers rather than advising. It is different from therapy in that you and your coach will address any obstacles that keep you from achieving your goals, but will not engage in therapy or any psychological area that requires training and licensing for treatment.
The Coaching Engagement: Your coaching engagement can be customized to meet your individual needs.
§Option 1: Per your initial conversation (which is a complimentary coaching consultation) you will begin with a coaching session hour, where you and your coach will explore your concerns in depth. After the first session, you will meet weekly, bi-weekly, monthly or as often as you schedule (according to your coach’s availability) each time for a coaching session hour. You can make adjustments to this schedule by mutual agreement with your coach as needed.
§Option 2: Per your initial conversation (which is a complimentary coaching consultation), you will begin with a coaching package that includes a series of coaching sessions.
§Option 3: Per your corporate sponsorship agreement, you will begin with a coaching package that includes a series of coaching sessions.
Your sessions will be held online via the Integrated Life Management Coaching App, online video conference, by telephone or where possible, in person. At the time of your appointments, please click the Start Visit button in your coach's profile to be connected in a video session with your coach.
Fees and Payment: Option 1: The fee for coaching is free for the initial consultation, and then a set fee for weekly, biweekly, monthly or otherwise scheduled coaching session hours scheduled on a rolling basis. In order to schedule a session, you must enter your credit card details for the initial session to secure a time on your coach's calendar. The fee for the session is due prior to each session and is non-refundable.
Option 2: Some Integrated Coaches offer coaching packages. Payment for a coaching package is due no later than the date of the first session (this is the first session after the initial free consultation). Packages are good for one year, and no refunds will be granted after the first paid session unless there are unused sessions in the package.
Keeping Appointments: Coaching is a commitment. We encourage you to keep your regularly scheduled appointments, as the results of your work with your coach are cumulative. The best results usually happen because of your consistency and follow-through. Even if you feel unprepared, there is value to be gained from exploring what’s going on. If you are late for an appointment, the agreed-upon schedule will still apply, and the session will end at the scheduled time.
Missed Appointments: We understand that emergencies can happen to anyone; therefore, if an emergency keeps you from attending a session, please contact your coach whenever possible to let them know of the circumstances. Such events as a family emergency, serious accidents or illness are considered “emergencies.” In all other circumstances, if you miss a session without notice or cancel less than 24 hours in advance, the full fee will be charged.
The Coach’s Responsibility: Integrated Coaches are committed to supporting you in achieving your desired outcomes and having each session be meaningful and productive. Our coaches will always conduct themselves professionally and maintain the ethics and standards set by the International Coaching Federation.
Integrated Coaches will not offer advice in any area in which they are not qualified and will, upon request, assist you in finding a trained or licensed professional for any matter that is outside their scope of expertise.
Confidentiality: Your identity as a coaching client and all communications between you and your coach will be held as strictly confidential, to the extent permitted by law, unless you give them express permission to disclose specific information. While the coach-client relationship is not privileged and your coach may be required to disclose confidential information in a legal proceeding, it is highly unlikely that this will occur. In the event that there is evidence that you are a potential danger to yourself or another, or that you disclose illegal activity, Integrated Coaches are ethically bound to report it to the appropriate authority. In such case, your coach will discuss it with you before taking such action.
Release of Information: As professionals, Integrated Coaches engage in training and continuing education in order to pursue and/or maintain credentials with the International Coaching Federation (ICF). That process requires that Integrated Life ManagementSM or your coach provide the names and contact information of clients for possible verification by the ICF. As a part of this agreement, you agree to have only your name, contact information and start and end dates of coaching shared with ICF staff members and/or other parties involved in this process for the sole purpose of verifying the coaching relationship. No personal notes or other information will be shared. The Client’s Responsibility: You understand that you are responsible for keeping the agreements stated in this agreement, as well as any actions you take as a result of coaching, and for maintaining your own well-being. We ask you to take responsibility for creating value and results for yourself, to ask for what you want in each session, and to give your coach feedback about what works or doesn’t work for you, so that they can be most effective in assisting you.
Open Communication: Integrated Coaches agree to communicate openly and honestly and to gently and compassionately share their observations with you as you work together. We encourage you to be open and honest with your coach, as you will get the best results from coaching if you share the full picture with them.
Communication Between Sessions: Please feel free to send your coach chat messages via the Contact button in your coach's profile if you wish to communicate between sessions--the frequency of these chat messages is subject to your coach's availability and varies by coach. If your concern is urgent, please let your coach know and they will get back to you as soon as possible.
Termination: Because a good termination process is important to your personal growth, please give your coach at least a one-session notice. This will give you both the opportunity to review your concerns, discuss further steps you can take, and say goodbye in a meaningful and complete way.
Please let your coach know if you have any questions or concerns at any time during your coaching engagement. We welcome you as a client and we are excited to help you to achieve your goals and create a life you love!
