Paddlers MUST be able to swim & Over the age of 18 unless accompanied by an adult/guardian.
Advanced reservations are required for all of The Goat Boater’s services & offerings and are subject to availability.
In the event of inclement weather paddlers will be notified of cancellation or delay. All events will be rescheduled or a credit will remain on paddler’s account to be used within one year.
The Goat Boater, Lake Wylie Paddleboarding does not issue Refunds.
Private event bookings require a credit card to be held on file. Should cancellation occur outside of 48hrs groups will not be charged. Cancellation within 24-48hrs will incur a 50% of total booking charge. Day of cancellations and no shows will be charged the full fee.
We are a mobile company launching from various locations in Tega Cay. Booking confirmation emails contain paddler launch location. Launch locations are subject to change due to weather patterns, group sizes and other factors. Should a launch location change, paddler(s) will be notified of new location. All locations are within 1 mile of each other. Each location requires paddlers who are utilizing their own craft to have either a city parking permit and/or pay a launch fee. Paddlers wishing to launch their own craft must obtain prior approval & pay any applicable fees
Launch locations do not offer public restrooms, changing areas or lockers. Paddlers must be prepared to be on the water. The Goat Boater, Lake Wylie Paddleboarding assumes no responsibility for items lost, stolen or damaged.
The Goat Boater, Lake Wylie Paddleboarding does not accommodate launch location requests. Property of The Goat Boater, Lake Wylie Paddleboarding may not be transported off of scheduled launch location site.
Paddlers are required to provide credit card information, to be held on file, in the event of equipment damage.
Waivers must be completed by all paddlers prior to paddling.
Paddlers ages 13 & under MUST wear PFD at all times while paddling. Paddlers over the age of 13 MUST have PFD on craft at all times while paddling. Paddlers are responsible for their own lake authority fines & ticketing
