The assessment starts with you sending us a series of clips/images along with a full history and symptoms list. When you book you'll receive an email of suggested clips to send, including feeding, sleeping, crying and showing us baby's mouth. This allows us to get up to speed with your situation prior to our consult and checking for subtle variations in presentation. We want to ensure nothing else may be causing the issue alongside or rather than the tie, and ensure baby is frenulotomy ready - that is in the best position and for the treatment to be successful. We then have a chat on the phone and arrange for you to come into clinic to finish the assessment and treat the tie.
All treatment options include ongoing wound healing support, both virtually and at clinic.
