$111.00 per week for 4 weeks ($444.00 total)
A typical 4-week Program includes daily breath routines, some that take just minutes to shift your nervous system and others that are 30-45 minutes long and allow for connection with your body and breath resulting in clarity, focus and calm. Included in the 4-week Program are personalized SOMAFit and SOMAYoga as well as nutritional recommendations to promote positive lifestyle changes connected to the issue you plan to address. We will meet 1 time each week for 60-minutes (4-sessions) after the initial intake session which typically will occur 1-week before the Program implementation. In these sessions we will review breath techniques, feelings associated with the issue you choose to address, BreathFit and BreathYoga along with desirable life style changes and steps to achieve those goals. Each session will be recorded and sent to the client with full breathwork/meditation sessions to continue on your own as recommended or needed in the future. Sessions can be conducted in-person. To understand SOMA breath’s origins, we need to go back in time a bit. SOMA was a plant recorded in the ancient Veda scripts of the Golden Age in India. People would gather and ingest a concoction made from the SOMA plant which gave them an effect in the brain and possibly chemically-induced, that would allow them to explore and expand their consciousness, leaving them balanced in body, mind and spirit. And then, the plant became extinct and the People were no longer able to drink the Sacred SOMA. In a 400-year time period people began to go inward in order to seek new ways to get to the same ecstatic states that allows connection to the divine while balancing body, mind and spirit. The pharmacy is within. SOMA breath techniques are widely varied and can be customized to shift the central nervous system from fight or flight mode (sympathetic nervous system) to rest and digest mode (parasympathetic nervous system) while stimulating the endocrine system to release “feel good hormones” (dopamine, serotonin, oxytocin, epinephrine), while decreasing cortisol “stress hormone”. It also activates production of acetylcholine associated with motivation, attention, memory, learning and arousal). It has been associated with lowering blood pressure and heart rate, and increases vasodilation as a result of reaching heart coherence and activation of acetylcholine through the rhythmic breathing and breath holds. The power of the breath is the core tool to activate your inner pharmacy. Currently, SOMA breath techniques are being studies at both Oxford and Harvard Universities and the effects the techniques have on the brain and human physiology. SOMA breath techniques have been associated with decreasing anxiety and depression, weight loss, lowering blood pressure, relieving symptoms of stress, grief and PTSD, increasing self-confidence while reducing and eliminating limiting beliefs as well as improving strength and overall wellness. As a Certified SOMA Breath Instructor and SOMA Neurosomatic Breath Therapist, I have been trained in these modalities. I am not a doctor or psychologist, nor a Certified general nutritionist, Yoga Instructor or Fitness Trainer. I hold a Certificate in Ayurvedic Nutrition and detoxification as a Practitioner and am currently completing my 200- hour Yoga Certification. I am thrilled and honored to have the opportunity to work with you 1:1 on any of the issues identified above. Personally, I have used SOMA breath practices to help me transform from severe PTSD since 2020 and it has changed my life in the most amazing ways. I have a community that operates at the same vibrational energy frequency as I do and now have the opportunity to share these gifts with all who seek it and create a new community, here in the Adirondack Region of New York.
