Returns and Cancellations

Our policy lasts 14 days. If 14 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund. If you have borrowed your fee from Wirsly and are paying by monthly payment plan / recurring payments you are legally bound to pay the balance / full fee, even if you have since quit your course.

For enrolments that are wholly completed on-line or via telephone the distance selling regulations apply. Wirsly complies in full with the 2 Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 and will provide a full refund of any fees paid if a notification of cancellation is received from the student within fourteen days of purchasing a course. Cancellation of a payment plan / recurring payments is not cancellation of your liability to pay fees - you will be expected to pay fees in full. In cases of hardship students are advised to contact teachersophia@wirsly.com . Failure to pay fees / non-intention to pay fees is a breach of our terms of sale contract and will result in legal action by our solicitors.

This website Wirsly Online Education is owned by Wirsly. Throughout the site, the terms “we”, “us” and “our” refer to Wirsly. Wirsly offers this website, including all information, tools and services available from this site to you, the user, conditioned upon your acceptance of all terms, conditions, policies and notices stated here.

We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason at any time.

Credit card information is always encrypted during transfer over networks.

You agree not to reproduce, duplicate, copy, sell, resell or exploit any portion of the Service, use of the Service, or access to the Service or any contact on the website through which the service is provided, without express written permission by us.

Class credit will be deducted for "no-show" for the lessons. Meaning if you do not log-on to the call within the first 15-minutes of the lesson start time, or cancel less then one hour before booked lesson start time.

The headings used in this agreement are included for convenience only and will not limit or otherwise affect these Terms.

SECTION 3 - ACCURACY, COMPLETENESS AND TIMELINESS OF INFORMATION

We are not responsible if information made available on this site is not accurate, complete or current. The material on this site is provided for general information only and should not be relied upon or used as the sole basis for making decisions without consulting primary, more accurate, more complete or more timely sources of information. Any reliance on the material on this site is at your own risk.

We reserve the right to refuse any order you place with us. We may, in our sole discretion, limit or cancel quantities purchased per person, per household or per order. These restrictions may include orders placed by or under the same customer account, the same credit card, and/or orders that use the same billing and/or shipping address. In the event that we make a change to or cancel an order, we may attempt to notify you by contacting the e-mail and/or billing address/phone number provided at the time the order was made. We reserve the right to limit or prohibit orders that, in our sole judgment, appear to be placed by dealers, resellers or distributors.

You agree to provide current, complete and accurate purchase and account information for all purchases made at our store. You agree to promptly update your account and other information, including your email address and credit card numbers and expiration dates, so that we can complete your transactions and contact you as needed.

Students are expected to upload teacher set assignments in a timely fashion and by the set deadlines. Students are not permitted to abuse the service (upload/submit assignments (or other documents, coursework, examination papers etc.) that are not set by teachers at any time. Wirsly reserve the right to discontinue our service without refund in the event that students fail to upload/submit teacher set assignments or abuse the service provided. We can only offer the service if students study and complete their courses in accordance with teacher expectations.

Students are not permitted to use our websites as online file storage/coursework storage. Wirsly is not responsible for the online storage of student coursework. Only a temporary digital copy of student coursework is permitted on our websites for the purposes of teacher assessment and potentially for promotion of courses. Student's are responsible for the secure storage of their own coursework.

SECTION 13 - DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTIES; LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

We do not guarantee, represent or warrant that your use of our service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure or error-free.

We do not warrant that the results that may be obtained from the use of the service will be accurate or reliable.

You agree that from time to time we may remove the service for indefinite periods of time or cancel the service at any time, without notice to you.

You expressly agree that your use of, or inability to use, the service is at your sole risk. The service and all products and services delivered to you through the service are (except as expressly stated by us) provided 'as is' and 'as available' for your use, without any representation, warranties or conditions of any kind, either express or implied, including all implied warranties or conditions of merchantability, merchantable quality, fitness for a particular purpose, durability, title, and non-infringement.

Students, parents/guardians are responsible for the arrangement of examinations. In the course of teaching practical subjects teachers may ask children to make art and design objects and scientific experiments involving potentially hazardous tools and materials. Parents/guardians must supervise their children online and offline and are responsible for the safety of their children online and offline. Our teachers are DBS checked and qualified in their subjects. In an attempt to prevent unwanted communication between adults (other parents/staff) and children only adult email addresses and telephone numbers are on our system (children's email addresses/telephone numbers are forbidden) but this does not guarantee safety online. Parents must monitor communications involving their children to keep them safe.

It is assumed that students enrol on to a course because they feel they can complete it. Typically students have studied the subject at a lower level before embarking on a course. Teachers reserve the right to move students who are not ready/capable of studying a course to a more appropriate lower level if necessary in their professional opinion. Wirsly online education have no desire to 'push' students beyond the level that they are capable. Such unethical activity is in our professional view potentially damaging to a student's self-esteem and may harm their educational prospects. Students on our courses accept this condition and will not receive a refund should this happen to them.

In no case shall Wirsly , our directors, officers, employees, affiliates, agents, contractors, interns, suppliers, service providers or licensors be liable for any injury, loss, claim, or any direct, indirect, incidental, punitive, special, or consequential damages of any kind, including, without limitation lost profits, lost revenue, lost savings, loss of data, replacement costs, or any similar damages, whether based in contract, tort (including negligence), strict liability or otherwise, arising from your use of any of the service or any products procured using the service, or for any other claim related in any way to your use of the service or any product, including, but not limited to, any errors or omissions in any content, or any loss or damage of any kind incurred as a result of the use of the service or any content (or product) posted, transmitted, or otherwise made available via the service, even if advised of their possibility. Because some states or jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or the limitation of liability for consequential or incidental damages, in such states or jurisdictions, our liability shall be limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.
