You may not have known, but it's been 85 years since any laws have been passed for our cosmetics and personal care products. This means NO REGULATIONS since1938. Companies can add ingredients that have never been tested and are put directly on the shelves (even infant & children's products). Learning about ingredients has been a huge part of my life since starting the salon. So, even products stating organic, green, natural (this is called greenwashing) can be unhappy. Like I said, no regulations since 1938. Products can be laden with toxic ingredients -- such as known carcinogens, hormonal disruptors, heavy metals, and allergens. YIKES!

That being said, We take pride in being the first salon and spa in the area with a "cleaner" outlook on a health & beauty movement. Nevertheless, We are continually researching, growing, sharing, and implementing it in our personal life and businesses.
