Cancellation Policy: All cancellations must be submitted in writing.

For single sessions: If your cancellation is received 24 hours or more in advance you may receive a full refund or transfer your booking to a later date. If you do not send advance written notice of your cancellation, if you do not attend, or if you leave prior to the conclusion of your session. your payment is non-refundable and non-transferable.

For packages: All cancellations must be received in writing. For a full refund that notice must be a minimum of 24 hours before the first scheduled session. If after the first session you decide this package is not for you, you may cancel and will receive a partial refund minus the value of the first session ( calculated at the single session rate.)and an admin fee currently set at £15. If you do not attend any session, or if you leave prior to the conclusion of any session, your payment is non-refundable and non-transferable and you lose that session.

Charlotte Kanyi/BirthEssence makes two exceptions to the 24 hour rule: 1. for birth professionals on call , including Doulas and Midwives provided they inform Charlotte Kanyi immediately that they are called to a birth and reschedule within 5 days. 2.For pregnant women who go into labour within the 24 hour period provided they inform Charlotte Kanyi and they are permitted to reschedule the appointment.

Should your baby arrive earlier than expected you may transfer any remaining sessions to the postnatal period up to and including 6 months after your original EDD. In the sad and unfortunate event that you miscarry you would be entitled to a partial refund on a pro-rata basis or to transfer the remaining balance to another package.

Session Length.

Birth Confidence/ Heal Your Birth Story and all 121 sessions last approximately one hour unless otherwise stated or agreed. There is some leeway of 15 minutes either side. The slight flexibility in length allows for the session to reach a natural completion of what we are working on.
