April 2022 Fat Loss Meal Plan

If you hang out with me on social media or receive my newsletters, you probably already know how important it is that we BOOST our metabolism and focus on deep health, even for fat loss goals. Eat less and exercise more rarely works or lasts as we cannot diet our way down to malnourished amounts and wonder why we are doing terribly.

Instead, we need to focus on revving up the fire inside of us. A big part of this comes down to eating enough protein, healthy fats for happy and balanced hormones, fiber for gut health, and intentional carbs (enough, but not too much).

If you're thinking, "That sounds great, Tara, but WTH does that look like?", then this meal plan is for you!

I designed this plan to make sure all meals have 20-40g of protein, 5-15g of fiber, and 10-30g of fat. You'll notice starchy carbs and fruit are included with some of the meals, but not all for an intentional blood sugar balancing approach.

What you'll get:
*TWO 7-Day meal plans ... an omnivore version and a plant-based version. Feel free to mix and match or just use the one that pertains to your preferences. Both happen to be gluten-free.

*All of the tasty recipes

An antioxidant-rich, nutrient-dense meal plan to support a healthy immune system.

The immune system relies on many nutrients to do its job well. This program has been intentionally designed to include a wide variety of vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants to support immune system function.

Key nutrients include vitamin A, vitamin C, vitamin E, zinc, and selenium. This program is a 7-day meal plan that happens to be vegetarian-friendly, dairy-free, and gluten-free. You will be doing some cooking with this plan, but I've worked plenty of leftovers into the mix to save you time in the kitchen as well!

That being said, many people have reached out asking for help in getting their toes wet before being able to commit to my 1-on-1 coaching program. I get it! There's something to be said for that confidence we get when we start to kick things into gear, am I right??

How this 1-time service works:

*After you sign up, I will email you a link to fill out a quick online intake form ... so please include an email address you check often. I won't spam you. ;-)
*Once you've completed the intake, I will be in touch via email if I have any follow up questions. Otherwise, I'll get straight to work on your customized bundle. You can expect to receive your bundle within 7 business days.

This bundle will include:

*Your specific macro portion needs and a few ways to figure out portions so you can choose a way that works best for your lifestyle (from science nerdy precision to a much more laid back way ... your choice)

Maybe you have certain allergies to plan around or prefer to eat gluten-free / dairy-free / paleo / plant-based / keto...or maybe you have no restrictions at all, but need help getting started.


I get it! Recipe bundles can help us get new ideas, play in the kitchen, and help us to feel so much better so we can keep going with that momentum. :-) Think of it like a completely customized cookbook containing only the kinds of recipes you want.

I will create a completely customized recipe collection for you based on your likes and dislikes, health goals, cuisine preferences, amount of people you're serving, and amount of time you have to cook. I will take the guesswork out for you. This recipe collection will contain 14 breakfast recipes, 14 lunch recipes, 14 dinner recipes, and 14 snack / dessert recipes for you to play with.

Make a new meal everyday, or work your way through this collection slowly, using batch cooking and maximizing leftovers (to minimize time and effort!).

This recipe bundle will not include a grocery list or spell out what to eat on each day, but will contain more overall recipes than a meal plan would. This is a better option for you if you'd like to practice meal planning for yourself as you go along and just want lots of tasty options to reference and be able to mix and match as you go along.
