Audit/observe the cooperative care work to learn all the skills so you can work with your pup at home! This allows people with dogs who aren't comfortable in class to be able to learn skills to help them feel more comfortable.
Adventure Club
SJC Adventure Club Orientation is a requirement for joining SJC Adventure Club outings (see below for SJCAC info) OR can just be a really useful 3 private session package to work on specific skills in the world! It is three 60minute private sessions, 1 session on manners while in the world, 1 session specifically on off leash/recall homework at SJC, and 1 session at a sniff spot with Tena (optionally, with a dog or two of hers as well) to practice skills for building off-leash reliability.
SJC Adventure Club will meet 1-3x/month for an adventure. It is a drop-in set up so you can pick which ones you want to come to--it may be weeknight, weekday, or occasionally a weekend). These adventures MIGHT be to a sniff spot for an off-leash or on a long line adventure with a few other dog social friends, or it might be to an ice cream shop to get ice cream and practice your dog's cafe type manners, or it could be for a guided walk/training practice at a public spot (could be a park, or something like a pet friendly outlet mall or shopping center, etc). The number of spots each adventure will vary depending on the adventure but this will NOT be like some of the trainers that drag 40 dogs out to a park and you don't get good one on one attention and are left to fend for yourself. It will not likely exceed our normal class size of 8 (but may be smaller than that.
**Adventure Club Outings are NOT appropriate for reactive dogs but you can still do the orientation package to get these training experiences. Well-managed reactive dogs who can handle public environments with dogs around without meltdowns (but may need a little more room) can be approved by Tena, feel free to reach out**

Private Training Packages
Details-- This is for a single 1hr ZOOM session (Virtual training session). You can choose to purchase all of your lessons individually to minimize upfront cost and allow you to pay by the lesson, though this is the most expensive option.
