If it hurts then stop. Yes muscle aching and fatigue is often the desired effect of exercise but pain is not. Do not push through pain. If you have any questions about the exercises or any pains please let me know.
Class recordings: Online classes are available to join live or watch later only the teacher will be recorded not the class members. If you sign up for these classes you will receive the class recording via email as soon as it is available. This is usually within a few hours but could be up to 72 hours due to provider processing delays. The link will be available to you to access for 48 hours.
Weekly Saver:Payment for the weekly saver subscription will be taken automatically each week. If you wish to cancel your subscription please give one full weeks notice in writing.
1:1 saver: This saver pass is for online 1:1 sessions, all sessions must be booked within 31 days of purchase.
Gift voucher:Gift vouchers can be used against online or in person classes or 1:1 sessions. The recipient of the voucher will be asked to call me (Kaye) for a free mini welcome consultation before booking their sessions.
Cancellations and refunds: Any face to face classes cancelled due to Covid-19 will be refunded to your account or to your class pass.
Please give at least 12 hours notice if you need to cancel your online class. If you have paid by card or bacs you will be refunded by credit note which will be valid for 30 days. If you have a membership subscription the session will be reallocated to your account. If you cancel with less than 12 hours notice, you may be charged in full for the session.
Class sizes: The number of spaces per class will not usually exceed 10
Online class etiquette: Please try to log into the class link and have your workout area ready 10 minutes prior to the start of the class.
Before the class is recorded please mute your microphone.
If you need to stop your workout or rest at anytime please do, it is even more important for the online workouts that you do not push yourself beyond where your body is happy. I will do my best to give corrections and guidance on technique during the class, but please know that working out online is not the same as working out in the studio and thus you must take extra care to make sure you feel safe in particular if performing a new exercise. If you stop I will know you need help or extra guidance or maybe you are tired, I will check in with you.
For privacy reasons please do not record or screen shot the classes, unless explicit permission has been given to do so by One Life Pilates.
Data: Your data security and privacy is important. You should know that while you have the ability to be present in class via video link, you may turn off your video at anytime or if you wish to remain off camera you may connect just by audio. 1:1 classes may be recorded allowing the recording to be shared with the individual client for their own use. Group classes may be recorded, in this case recordings will be made only by Kaye McGowan of One Life Pilates using Zoom. Class recordings will be shared only with clients scheduled into the recorded class, to allow them to play the recording at a later date up to 48hours after the scheduled class time. Group class recordings will record the speaker only, and as microphones will be muted it should be only the class teacher on camera. Any personal details held by One Life Pilates will be used only for the purpose of delivering your pilates class which may include processing payments for your sessions and keeping you informed about One Life Pilates services.
