Tally Ho Equestrian Centre

This booking is for the 1st introductory/evaluation lesson and 1 month of group lessons for new students who wish to enroll in group horse riding lessons at THEC for a minimum of 3 months. We are not taking temporary or part time students. Clients will be billed monthly after the first 4 weeks of lessons.

Your 4 Group Lessons must be used on a scheduled day/time for the month (see our Facebook page for group availability). Reschedules to another day/time allowed with 32 hours notice (by 9am the previous day) by rescheduling on this site (www.thec.acuityscheduling.com - make sure to log in).

Both the initial introductory and group lessons must be scheduled within ONE MONTH of purchase. Makeup lessons must be used within 45 days and cannot be used without current (paid) enrollment for that month. See website for any questions about lessons.

This lesson is for new students, who intend to enroll in weekly group or private lessons for the current month, that are completely new to riding, who don't know how to catch/tack a horse or who need a refresher.

90-120 minute lesson that includes a complete walk-though from catching the horse to grooming, tacking, a 30 minute lesson, untacking and after care.

This lesson is for intermediate/advanced riders who are new to the Tally Ho program and intend to enroll in weekly group or private lessons for the current month,. Riders must be able to catch, groom and tack a horse without assistance and, at minimum, be able to walk and trot in complete control without assistance and without hanging on to the horse or saddle. If rider is unable to complete the above requirements, please choose an introductory lesson instead.

This lesson takes 60-90 minutes. Rider will be observed in all aspects of readying a horse and assisted as needed, 30-45 minute private or semi-private lesson included.
