Professional Ethics and Standards: College Edge will make every good faith effort, using our knowledge and expertise, to effectively assist the student with the college application process. However, college admissions and financial aid are unpredictable processes. We cannot predict or promise that a student will be admitted to any college to which s/he decides to apply, nor can we predict or promise that a student will be offered financial aid or scholarships. The final responsibility for completing and submitting applications, meeting requirements, and complying with college deadlines lies with the student and the family. Neither AP PREP LLC (d/b/a College Edge), nor its counselors individually can be held responsible or accountable for which schools accept or reject a student's applications based upon academic record and personal achievements.
College Edge advisors abide by the Standards and Ethics Statement of HECA and/or IECA and are informed by NACAC’s Code of Ethics & Professional Practices (statements provided at time of contract). College Edge will not support any application materials that are knowingly false or do not represent the student’s own work.
