LingualMuse Student Service Agreement
The following terms and conditions will govern the relationship between LingualMuse.com, Inc. (“LingualMuse”) and you (the “Student”) and your use of the LingualMuse services. By using the LingualMuse services you agree to the terms and conditions of this Agreement. (If the Student is a minor, then the Student’s parent or legal guardian agrees to this Agreement on their behalf.) Student understands and agrees that …
USE AND BILLING TERMS:
1. LingualMuse Packages are non-cancelable and non-refundable.
2. Prepaid Packages have varied expiration periods. Unless otherwise noted, the expiration dates are as follows: 16 Hour Packages expire in 6 Months from date of purchase; 32, 48 and 64 Hour Packages expire in 1 Year from date of purchase; and 100 Club Packages expire in 2 years from date of purchase.
3. All scheduled 60-minute lessons include 10 minutes for the Language Coach to assign homework and document notes from class and all 30-minute classes include 5 minutes for the Language Coach instructor to assign homework and document notes from class. (i.e. 60 minute class = 50 minutes of instruction and 30 minute class = 25 minutes of instruction)
4. Students must schedule their lessons using the LingualMuse online calendar or LingualMuse Student Companion app (July 1, 2023). Students may schedule classes up to a year in advance and are subject to change based on Language Coach availability.
5. Classes may be scheduled on a recurring basis or individually.
6. Students may reserve lesson days and times up to the remaining prepaid time available on their package.
7. Class time will be refunded to the student’s account for any scheduled classes that are canceled or rescheduled with at least 24-hours’ notice. You can cancel or reschedule any class using your original class confirmation email, your 26 Hour class reminder notification or the LingualMuse Student Companion App (July 1, 2023). You may also cancel or reschedule with 48 Hour notice by emailing support@lingualmuse.com. We cannot guarantee cancellation or reschedule requests made directly with your Language Coach.
8. LingualMuse charges your account 24 hours prior to your scheduled class.
9. Classes can only be rescheduled with at least 24-hours’ notice and are subject to availability.
10. Excessive Student cancellations (Over 50% scheduled classes are canceled during a three-week period ) LingualMuse reserves the right to remove Students from upcoming scheduled classes and require Students to schedule class without cancelation or rescheduling benefits (account is charged upon scheduling).
11. Scheduling Individual classes typically requires 24 hours before requested time and is subject to Language Coach availability. It is recommended that package lessons are scheduled at time of booking to ensure consistent learning schedule.
12. Lessons canceled by Language Coach with less than 24-hour notice, Student is entitled to full make-up credit +15 minutes bonus time added to their account.
13. Students will progress at their own pace. LingualMuse and your Language Coach does not guarantee any specific results over any period of time; however, Students who complete assignments and practice/study regularly tend to achieve better results.
14. Language Coach may recommend a course book to facilitate learning and maximize the lesson experience. Student acknowledges that course books are NOT included in the price of packages and will need to be ordered separately.
15. Student’s credit card is currently stored with Square, our merchant processor agent, using their secure “credit card on file” service.
16. Payment is due at time of purchase. LingualMuse offers installment payment plans for all programs.
17. Installment payments made 10 days past due are subject to a $10 late fee, which will be billed automatically to credit card on file. Declined credit cards not resolved within 24 hours of processing are subject to a $15 service fee.
18. The hourly tuition of LingualMuse classes is $95/Hr. and Student understands that a substantial discount is being provided for purchasing a multi-hour program.
19. Terms & Conditions may be modified or updated at any time by LingualMuse. If the changes are significant, LingualMuse will alert students to those changes with reasonable notice.
THE 100 CLUB BENEFITS:
1. RATE LOCK: 100 CLUB Students may renew at the 100 CLUB rate for one renewal (Minimum 32 Hours). If the student renews for the 100 CLUB again, the Student's rate rolls over to the next renewal.
2. There is no $5 service fee on payment plans.
4. Students have TWO Years to use the 100 Hours
