Cortés will do as much as possible to inform students in regards to timetable changes as early as possible, however it is the responsibility of the student to keep up to date with the latest timetable updates, as classes and instructors can change at the last minute.
As we can only take a maximum number of students per class, enrolments are based on a “first come, first served” basis. We recommend to register early to avoid disappointment.
Please stay home if you are feeling unwell or believe you could be unwell. Remember common etiquette if you need to cough or sneeze. Encourage everyone to look out for each other and be understanding and kind.
We are a Covid Save school, we will encourage to sanitize your hand as you enter to the studio and at the end of the lessons. Also, Make sure that you are registered for every class.
As a student of Cortés, your health and wellbeing is important to us. We trust you are in good health and capable of undertaking physical activity. Whilst our instructors will provide as much detail and technique to safely execute the dance moves, as with any other sport, dancing may incur a risk to your physical health if moves are not executed properly.
Our staff and instructors are not trained doctors and are not able to provide a professional opinion regarding health matters, therefore make sure to consult a certified specialist if you are experiencing any physical discomfort.
If you are on a weekly payment membership, your membership fee will be charged in advance the Sunday before the week starting.
If you are signing up midway through the current term, your first payment will be charged the day of registration. This first payment will include the costs of the week. Your next payment will then be charged in advance the Sunday before the week starting.
Cortés Memberships will automatically renew at the end of the initial term. They will renew for the same length of time as your initial membership, unless you request in writing (to: cdancetoinspire@gmail.com ) to change the length, or opt-out of the renewal. Notice must be given at a minimum of 3 business days before the end of your initial membership term.
To cancel a membership, a request in writing (to: cdancetoinspire@gmail.com) is required at a minimum of 3 business days before the fee charging date. Note: The scheduling system sometimes shows you a cancelation option. If this method is used by you. Your membership will be automatically reactivated.
Cancellation can not be made on week 11.
At the end of each 10 weeks term there will be a 1 week break. During this week there will not be any regular classes running.
Cortés reserves the right to cancel classes due to unforeseen circumstances, on public holidays, over the period of large industry events and over the end of the year break.
We will make a reasonable effort to inform cancellation of classes in advance via our social media channels, notice boards, at reception and during classes.
There will be no discounts or refunds offered for classes cancelled.
Membership fees will not be reduced if we decide to close the studio for periods of refurbishment or holiday’s for up to 4 days.
