‘Come Fly With Me’ Close Encounters are held daily and offer the opportunity for you to spend time flying one of our beautiful owls in the company of one of our trained bird handlers. Lasting for approx. 20mins, Encounters can be booked in advance online or on the day in person at the Sanctuary. Two places are available for each Encounter, price £30 per participant excluding the price of admission to the Sanctuary. The minimum age for participants is 8.
Minimum age 13, 10am - 12.30pm
The half-day experience involves working with our Meerkats, Ferrets, Armadillos and other animals and will include some of the following activities: Enclosure cleaning • Food preparation • Introduction to animals • Enrichment making • and feeding the animals during talks. Supervised by an experienced keeper, a Half Day Animal Keeper Experience costs £85 per participant, £150 for two. Under 16’s must be accompanied by an adult (18+) for the duration

Spending time with these friendly desert dwellers will provide a memorable opportunity to learn all about their lifestyles and characters. Embarking on your Armadillo Encounter in the company of an expert keeper you'll meet and engage with our endearing pair in their enclosure, and treat them to their favourite snacks. Your guide will be by your side to provide insights into their fascinating world and help you capture some memorable photos. Armadillo Encounters can be booked in advance, price £30 per person excluding admission. Max 4 participants per Encounter, minimum age 8.

These encounters are available on set days & times throughout the week, lasting for approx. 20 minutes. Encounters are restricted to a maximum of 4 people, minimum age 8. These must be booked in advance.
