Throughout your pups day they will experience learning using positive reinforcement techniques. These techniques include praise, play and treats. Our trainer focuses on what they are doing correctly and build those behaviors into cues. A sample day at the Zen academy includes learning obedience cues, loose leash walking, polite manners and much more! At the end of the day your mentally enriched and physically tired puppy will go home for their ever so important family bonding time. Zen academy is open Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Once completed they will be eligible to temperament test for our members only enrichment daycare program. Also, unlimited group obedience classes as space is available. Proof of vaccinations and a clear fecal are required to start. If fleas and or ticks are found on your dog they will receive a flea and tick treatment and be sent home until situation is cleared by a vet

​Home schooling is where they will learn important functional life skills. Throughout your pups day they will experience learning using only positive reinforcement techniques. These techniques include praise, play and treats. Our trainer focuses on what they are doing correctly and build those behaviors into cues. A sample day at homeschool will consist of exploring safe environments, being exposed to novel stimulus, learning obedience cues, napping in a crate, playtime, potty breaks outdoors, car rides and more! At the end of their day, your enriched puppy will go home for their ever so important family bonding time. Classes are held Monday, Wednesday and Friday. This class is for puppies 12-20 weeks old. Second round of vaccinations and clear fecal. are required. Upon completion you are invited to join unlimited obedience group classes as space is available

Are you struggling to train your teen or adult dog basic commands? If so, then let us help you with our six-week training course catering to pups in adolescence or in adulthood! No age is too old! Our experienced trainers will help your furry friend learn new skills, build confidence, and teach manners in a social setting. We use a force-free and reward-based approach to ensure your pup is learning in a positive environment, which is scientifically proven to be successful! With the help of positive reinforcement, your beloved furry friend can become the best version of themselves and become a valued member of your family.

Our six-week intermediate class is the next step up after taking our teen/adult class. With the basics down, it’s time to challenge our dogs and go to the next level! This is great to begin gearing them up for the outside world, testing their impulse control at every turn. You will get expert training to help your dog overcome more challenging distractions, by adding diversity to their cues. Behaviors will be challenged by increasing the duration and distance on cues like sit or down and stay! Other topics include walking past distractions and other dogs and getting our dog to relax in a public space.

Socialization, Training, Activity and Responsibility. AKC S.T.A.R puppy Training increases the bond between you and your puppy and helps minimize behavior issues later in their life. In this 12 session package (6 in home private sessions plus 6 small group classes) Teach your puppy foundation skills that are needed in the real world and will last a lifetime. You will also learn fear free techniques to minimize the stress your dog has about going to the vet. The AKC S.T.A.R. puppy test is designed for owners to practice teaching their puppy good manners such as being handled by the vet, sit, stay, not reacting to loud noises, letting a stranger pet them, walk on a leash and more! At the end of your training your puppy will be eligible to test for the AKC S.T.A.R puppy designation. This is designation is a prerequisite for the Canine Good Citizen certification. Puppies need to be fully vaccinated to attend group classes.
