Introduction to the College Audition Process (3 Pack)

$350.00
Are you a junior or rising senior looking to learn more about the college audition process and start making plans for your applications? Are you wondering what type of degree might be the best fit for you, how to use your time to prepare, and ready to think more deeply about how you want to present yourself?

This package is perfect for you! Mimi will guide you through an introduction to the process and make sure you know everything you need to know about what to expect and how to prepare. She'll provide pamphlets and worksheets for you to help guide your research into collegiate programs and your own personal reflection on what you want out of the next four years. She'll also help you make a game plan to start finding songs and monologues for your auditions.

This package includes three hours on Zoom to discuss the process, your specific needs / progress after individual research, and of course, access to Mimi's extensive resources and some personalized song and/or monologue recommendations to get you started.

College Audition Preparation - The Basics (4 Pack)

$400.00
This package is recommended for students who feel confident in their approach to and understanding of the process. For students who feel strongly about their material selection and don't see it changing, have a good sense of their personal timeline of deadlines, and just need some tune ups and time to check in with an experienced coach.

This package includes:

1) A one hour Zoom consultation to discuss where you're at in the process. You'll go over your list of schools with Mimi and she may suggest some edits or additions, you'll review your headshot and resume for any changes, and check in that you're ready to go with every prescreen requirement and deadline for your schools.

2) A one hour SONG coaching. Mimi will help you find new points of view, a deeper sense of play, and tips on how to keep things fresh.

3) A one hour MONOLOGUE coaching. Mimi will help you find new points of view, a deeper sense of play, and tips on how to keep things fresh. If you're preparing a Shakespeare monologue, she also can provide strong insight into best practices to approach classical monologues.

4) A follow up coaching on Zoom to tie up loose ends, answer any questions, and perhaps do a "Mock Audition" to get you ready for your live auditions!

College Audition Preparation - The Full Package (10 Pack)

$1,000.00
This is THE comprehensive College Audition Coaching Package for students looking to best prepare themselves for the upcoming season. This package includes 10 hours of one-on-one Zoom lessons with Mimi, multiple documents to inform you of existing programs, deadlines, and individual school requirements, brand new song lists and monologues pulled just for you, and guidance on headshots, resume construction, and personal presentation.

This package includes:

1) A one hour introduction to the process where we'll discuss the timeline, best practices, and requirements to successfully navigate college auditions. I'll provide you with documents to help guide your research into your own college journey and how to discern what programs might be right for you.

2) An initial SONG consultation where we'll go over general song requirements, and I'll hear you sing some of your go-to's. I'll follow up with a personalized list of new songs for you to look into, so that you can find material you're truly excited about and that showcases you in the best light.

3) An initial MONOLOGUE consultation where we'll go over general mono requirements, and I'll hear you perform some of your go-to's. I'll follow up with a personalized pulling of new monologues for you to look into, so that you can find material you're truly excited about and that showcases you in the best light.

4) A one hour lesson on headshots, resumes, and personal presentation. If you need new headshots, I'll suggest ways to accomplish this affordably at home, look up local photographers in your area, or recommend fabulous photographers in New York you can book with. If need be, I'll also teach you how to format your resume and give you a template to work off of. Finally, we'll cover some important tips on how to curate your online presence, and how to boost your confidence in the room and make a great first impression.

5) Construction of a Diversified List of Schools. We'll spend an hour on Zoom discussing your own research into specific programs, and ensure that you have a great list of schools on your list that will maximize your chances of getting into a program that fits you well. From there, we'll make sure you have song and monologue material in mind that will fit each school's prescreen and live audition requirements.

6) Song Finalization. Once you have learned new material and cross referenced what is required from the schools on your list, we’ll hop on another Zoom call and run through potential songs and settle on some final choices for prescreens (and some or all live auditions, depending!).

7) Monologue Finalization. Once you have learned new material and cross referenced what is required from the schools on your list, we’ll hop on another Zoom call and run through potential monologues and settle on some final choices for prescreens (and some or all live auditions, depending!).

8. In Depth Song Coaching. Once we’ve settled on your final song choices, we’ll really dive into them here.

9. In Depth Monologue Coaching. Once we’ve settled on your final monologue choices, we’ll really dive into them here.

10. Mock Audition Coaching! We’ll treat this as a dress rehearsal for your auditions! Come dressed, warmed up, and ready to treat this Zoom call as a real audition. I'll ask you questions as if I'm on a panel of adjudicators, give you adjustments, and afterwards, give you tips on how to make a stronger impression in the room!
