Adult D&A Course

Adult (18+) Drug & Alcohol Course

This course is broken into two 4 hour blocks; Part 1 of 2 and Part 2 of 2. Make sure to sign up for both classes to receive a full 8hr credit.

This course fulfills the Connecticut requirement for adults 18 years of age and over. At the end of the course, students will receive the CS-1 certificate required to obtain a license.

We will now be offering an integrated online course at a discounted (for our Prep students) at a rate of $570.00. This will include access to the full online course, and 8 Behind-The-Wheel hours (four two hour lessons). To make it easier, your child will be picked up from Fairfield Prep when school is over.  Please call the office to arrange for driving lessons when his online course is finished!

Full Teen Course Including Road Hours (Road Hours Post Covid-19) - Pay Full Amount In Advance

This course usually qualifies students for an insurance discount, which is valid until the student is in their 20s. Also, students who take a full teen driving course only have to wait 120 days before taking a license test, compared with waiting 180 days with just the 8-hour course. Please note that students are eligible to take a license test on the 121st or 181st day by state law.

30 hours of classroom training and 8 hours of behind-the-wheel instruction for $480. Online classes are held Monday-Thursday 6pm-8pm. The class is completed in fifteen (15) 2-hour sessions that rotate throughout the month. The schedule for the month is posted on our website. You can finish the teen course in as little as two and a half weeks!

Here's how it works: classes are numbered 1-15 and rotate throughout the month. Students must come to each class once. We number the classes so students can easily keep track of their progress.

To sign up, students ages 16-17 must fill out our online intake form, found in our online portal. If students do not have a permit, they must bring a school ID with photo and birth certificate.

To schedule lessons, students can call or arrange an appointment time in person. Additional lessons are offered for $65. per hour.

A full teen driving course consists of 30 hours of classroom training and 8 hours of behind-the-wheel road instruction with Airway Driving School. A full teen driving course includes the state-mandated 8-hour drug and alcohol course and the 2-hour parent class.

Teen (16/17) 8hr Drug & Alcohol Course

This is a four (4) day course. You are required to sign up for all days. No exceptions.

This course fulfills the Connecticut requirement for teenagers 16 and 17 years of age. At the end of the course, students will receive the CS-1 certificate required to obtain a license. Please note that both the student and at least one parent/guardian must attend the parent class together or else credit will not be given for completion. Both of the student’s parents are welcome to attend, just please let us know at the time of registration so we know in advance.
