The Regulating Nervous System Series consists of 3 x 60-min online individual sessions for learning how to regulate your nervous system, based on the science of the Polyvagal Theory and Deb Dana's work on Befriending the Nervous System. It includes an introduction to the Polyvagal Theory, mapping exercises, and identifying effective self-care tools that work specifically for the shape and tone of your nervous system.

This series increases your awareness of your own nervous system and equips you with tools to decrease automated reactions and increase conscious responses to the myriad situations that life presents us with daily. It supports you to feel more like yourself, more in the driver's seat of your life, more present for the important relationships in your life, and more compassionate to yourself and others as you discover the nervous system story behind our outbursts, shut downs, as well as our most enjoyable moments in life.

The entirety of the series must be used within 3 months. It's most effective when the 3 sessions are scheduled within 3 - 6 weeks (meaning, once a week or once every other week), though scheduling one a month is also an option. The package of sessions cannot be shared with or transferred to others. No extensions, refunds, or transfers are given for packages not utilized within 3 months.

Please note: Every person moves through these exercises at a different pace, based on the rhythm of his/her/their nervous system. Part of our work together is learning how to recognize that point of overwhelm and how to shift away from it. While 3 sessions are typically needed to cover the initial introduction, mapping, and listing of self-care tools, some may find that adding a session or two allows for a more suitable pace. Whatever we do cover in the 3 sessions will give you plenty to start self-regulating your nervous system. Additional sessions may be recommended for your consideration.
