Small Human Policy

Children must be at least 6 years old to enter Purradise. All children under the age of 11 must be accompanied by an adult. No more than 2 children per adult are allowed. If you are visiting with children, it is suggested to visit earlier in the day to provide the best experience for all guests.

Any visitor under the age of 18 must have a parent or guardian sign the waiver. If you are under 18, please print this form, ask your parent or guardian to print their name and sign, and bring the signed form with you when you come.

No strollers please.

Your Visit:

Reservation times will begin at the top of the hour and conclude after 50 minutes - this allows us time to clean, sanitize and prepare for our next group of guests.

Refunds are NOT available if reservations are cancelled without at least 48 hours advance notice.

We recommend arriving and checking in at least 10 minutes in advance of your reservation to ensure a timely check in.

We allow a grace period of 15 minutes. After that, we’ll give your slot to someone who's been waiting hopefully. If there's still space when you finally make it, come on in! We just can't promise to give you extra time to make up for your loss.

Purradise is meant to be a peaceful space for cats and humans. Please speak softly so you don't startle the cats. Cellphone use is hissed at. Speakerphone is prohibited.

Walk carefully so you don't step on any tails.

Liability Waiver :

I accept and respect the beauty & unpredictability of cats.

I understand that cats are temperamental, independent, and unpredictable creatures. By interacting with any cat, I accept the possibility that they may scratch, claw, and bite - even when they like me. Sometimes ESPECIALLY when they like me.

RELEASE OF LIABILITY PROMISE NOT TO SUE, ASSUMPTION OF RISK AND INDEMNITY AGREEMENT

I desire to participate in interacting with, petting and playing with adoptable cats residing in Purradise, located at 1423 Washington Ave., Miami Beach, FL 33139, provided by The Cat Café South Beach LLC, a Florida Limited Liability Corporation. As lawful consideration for being permitted to participate in the Activity, I agree to all the terms and conditions set forth in this agreement.

On behalf of myself and my next of kin, heirs and representatives, I hereby expressly waive and release from all liability and promise not to sue The Cat Café South Beach LLC, Rescue partners, its employees, agents, officers, directors, affiliates, volunteers, partner rescue organizations, successors and assigns from any and all claims, including but not limited to, claims of negligence on the part of The Cat Café South Beach LLC, Rescue partners, or any Releases or otherwise, resulting in any physical or psychological injury (including paralysis and death), illness, damage to property, or economic or emotional loss I may suffer because of my participation in the Activity, or any events or activities conducted on the Location of, or for the benefit of The Cat Café South Beach LLC, and/or Rescue partners, provided that this waiver of liability does not apply to any acts of gross negligence, intentional, willful or wanton misconduct. I covenant not to make or bring any claim against The Cat Café South Beach LLC, Rescue partners, or any other Releasee, and forever discharge The Cat Café South Beach LLC, Rescue partners, and all other Releasees from liability under such claims.

I am voluntarily participating in the Activity, and I assume any and all risks associated with the Activity for myself and/or my child. I understand that as part of this Activity, I or my child will be in direct contact with cats of all ages, shapes, sizes and temperaments, and I understand, as with most animals, they may react in unpredictable ways to sounds, movements, people, or other animals that could result in injuries to people or property. I am aware and understand that the Activities I or my child will participate in are inherently dangerous and may cause serious or grievous injuries, including but not limited to, physical or psychological injury, pain, suffering, illness, disfigurement, temporary or permanent disability (including paralysis), economic or emotional loss, death, and/or property damage. I understand that these injuries or outcomes may arise from my own or another’s actions, inaction, or The Cat Café South Beach LLC’s, Rescue partners, or another’s negligence or the conditions of the Activity location. Nonetheless, I assume all related risks, both known or unknown to me, of my participation in this Activity, including travel to, from and during the Activity.

I agree to defend, indemnify, and hold The Cat Café South Beach LLC, Rescue partners, and all other Releasees harmless from any and all claims, losses, damages, liabilities, deficiencies, actions, judgments, settlements, interest, awards, penalties, expenses, costs, including attorney’s fees or damage to my personal property incurred or awarded against the indemnified parties, arising out of or resulting from any claim of a third party related to the Activities. If I need medical treatment, I agree to be financially responsible for any costs incurred because of such treatment. I am aware and understand that I should carry my own health insurance.

I understand that this document is written to be as broad and inclusive as legally permitted by the State of Florida. I agree that if any portion is held invalid or unenforceable the provision shall be modified by the parties in good faith in such a way that it becomes valid and enforceable and shall be aligned with the parties’ original business purpose, intent. If the provision cannot be modified, I understand that I will continue to be bound by the remaining terms.

I am 18 years or older and i have read and understand the legal consequences of signing this document, including (a) releasing The Cat Café South Beach LLC, and, Rescue partners, from all liability, (b) promising not to sue Releases (c) and assuming all risks of participating in this activity. No other representations concerning the legal effect of this document have been made to me.

If Participant is under 18 years of age: I am the parent or legal guardian of the Participant. I understand the legal consequences of signing this document, including (a) releasing The Cat Café South Beach LLC, and Rescue partners, from all liability on my and the Participant’s behalf, (b) promising not to sue on my and the Participant’s behalf, (c) assuming all risks of the Participant’s participation in this Activity, including travel to, from and during the Activity, and (d) indemnifying The Cat Café South Beach LLC and Rescue partners, from any and all third party claims. I allow Participant to participate in this Activity. I understand that I am responsible for the obligations and acts of Participant as described in this document. I agree to be bound by the terms of this document. I have read this entire document, and I am areeing to it freely. No other representations concerning the legal effect of this document have been made to me.
