TERMS AND CONDITIONS

These terms and conditions override any contrary terms or conditions published by Rebecca Reid Vocal Studio in relation to any gift certificate between you and me.

Please read these Terms and Conditions (“Terms and Conditions”) carefully. By purchasing a gift certificate you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions and my Privacy Policy.

Gift Certificate Contract

1.1 When purchasing a gift certificate you will be required to accept these terms and conditions which will create a legally binding contract between you and Rebecca Reid Vocal Studio incorporating these terms and conditions.

1.2 Gift Certificates are not refundable or exchangeable.

1.3 Gift Certificates are valid for 12 calendar months from the date of issue. See e-Gift Certificate for expiry date.

1.4 Gift certificates are students over the age of eighteen years.

Data Protection

2.1 Each party shall where applicable only process Personal Data as defined in Section 1 (1) of the Data Protection Act 1998 for the purpose of fulfilling its obligation under this contract or in accordance with the express written instructions of the other.

2.2 Rebecca Reid Vocal Studio will only process data that is relevant to the services and is required in order to deliver the services.

2.3 Rebecca Reid Vocal Studio shall:

2.3.1 process the Personal Data in compliance with all applicable laws, enactments, regulations, orders, standards and other similar instruments;

2.3.2 take all appropriate technical and organisational measures against the unauthorised or unlawful processing of the Personal Data and against the accidental loss or destruction of, or damage to, the Personal Data;

2.3.3 notify the student immediately if it becomes aware of any unauthorised or unlawful processing, loss of, damage to or destruction of the Personal Data;

2.3.4 not store, process or transfer any Personal Data outside of the European Economic Area; and

2.3.5 ensure that all staff and others involved with processing any Personal Data, including Acuity Scheduling, are subject to a relevant duty of confidentiality in respect of the Personal Data.

2.8 Each student must ensure compliance with applicable national data protection laws at all times during the Term of this Agreement.
