This package includes one in-home consultation during the early weeks, with two further sessions out and about. Three one to one sessions at our private training paddock. Learn why your dog is reacting the way they do and work through a behaviour and training plan, tailored to your individual dog. This 6 session course (1-1) is comprised of a 1 hour Behaviour and Training Consultation at our private enclosed field, with a further 5, 1-1 sessions (45 mins). This program is designed to support you in understanding and reducing your dog's reactive behaviour. You will learn how to read your dog's body language so you can guide them gently towards calmer walks together. Introduction to ACE (Animal Centred Education) techniques, by your ACE Certified Trainer, including lead handling skills, Free Work, building focus and engagement, confidence building (for both ends of the lead), learn how to use counter conditioning and gradual desensitisation under professional guidance. Sessions are held at our private, enclosed field. Follow up sessions at other suitable locations are available. This 6 session program will equip you with the skills you need to continue working with your dog in your day to day lives. If your dog's behaviour has suddenly changed, please make an appointment to discuss with your vet first.

ACE Free Work Mini Course£140.00
Animal Centred Education (ACE) is an integrated approach to animal wellbeing and education. Free Work is a simple, low impact activity that was developed by Sarah Fisher at Animal Centred Education (ACE). This sensory exploration for dogs enables dogs to relax and slow down, helping us to observe their habits, postural struggles and any sensitivities to handling or other aspects of daily life. It helps us build our own observation skills so that we can support dogs with their sensitivities. Free Work can help dogs to settle and calm. Many dogs struggle when in novel situations. Free Work provides an invaluable stepping stone towards further learning and can be used to support dogs in so many ways, whilst building a deeper connection with their caregivers. Take a dive into the magic of ACE Free Work with your dog on this mini course (1-1). This short course will guide you through ACE Free Work set ups at our training paddock and help you to do your own set ups at home with your dog (WhatsApp/Email support available throughout the course). Step back and observe your dog as they engage in this rewarding activity, noting areas they may find difficult in their day to day lives, building quiet, calm connections and recognising how our own habits may affect our dogs. ACE Free Work is a gentle, calm approach, suitable for dogs of all ages, from puppy through to seniors.
