Terms and Conditions for Mediatox for Therapists Subscription

Welcome to Mediatox for Therapists, provided by Jenny Wise and Mediatox. By enrolling in the Class, you agree to be bound by the following Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully before proceeding.

1. Contract Duration

1.1 The Class is a 12-month program commencing on the date of enrollment and ending on 12 months from the start date.

1.2 Enrollment in the Class is non-cancelable, and the Student commits to the full 12-month term unless otherwise agreed in writing by the Provider.

2. Confidentiality

2.1 The Student acknowledges that the Class may include sensitive, proprietary, or confidential information, including but not limited to course materials, discussions, case studies, and personal disclosures shared during sessions.

Because of the limitations of virtual environments, when discussing any client cases, all names and defining details will be changed for the purposes of education.

2.2 The Student agrees to maintain the confidentiality of all Confidential Information and not to disclose, reproduce, or distribute it to any third party without prior written consent from the Provider, except as required by law.

2.3 This obligation of confidentiality survives the termination or completion of the Class.

3. Responsibilities of Therapists

3.1 If the Student is a licensed therapist seeking Continuing Education credits (CEs), they must complete a mandatory assessment or any other requirements of their specific licensing board in order to receive CEs.

3.2 The Therapist must achieve a passing score on the Assessment, as determined by the Provider, to be eligible to receive CEs.

3.3 The Provider will issue a certificate of completion for CEs only upon successful completion of the Assessment and fulfillment of all other Class requirements.

3.4 The Therapist is responsible for ensuring that the CEs offered by the Class meet the requirements of their licensing body. The Provider is not liable for any rejection of CEs by a licensing authority.

4. Responsibilities of Therapists-in-Training

4.1 If the Student is a therapist-in-training, they are responsible for providing the Provider with all necessary forms, documentation, or information required by their licensing or educational institution to receive credit or approval for participation in the Class.

4.2 The Trainee must submit these forms within 30 days of beginning subscription or as otherwise directed by the Provider. Failure to provide the required documentation may result in ineligibility for credit hours.

4.3 The Provider is not responsible for verifying the Trainee’s eligibility for credit with their licensing body or institution.

5. Payment Terms

5.1 The total fee for the 12-month Class is $780 total, payable in 12 monthly payments of $65. Individual classes or additional classes (beyond 10) are available for $100 each.

5.2 Payments are non-refundable, except as required by applicable law or at the sole discretion of the Provider.

5.3 Late payments may result in suspension of access to the Class until the account is brought current.

6. Class Access and Participation

6.1 The Class will be delivered virtually via zoom and requires the Student to have reliable internet access and appropriate technology.

6.2 The Provider reserves the right to modify the Class schedule, content, or delivery method with reasonable notice to the Student.

6.3 The Student agrees to participate respectfully and adhere to any additional guidelines provided by the Provider during the Class.

7. Termination

7.1 The Provider may terminate the Student’s participation in the Class for breach of these Terms, including but not limited to failure to maintain confidentiality, non-payment, or disruptive behavior.

7.2 Upon termination, the Student forfeits access to the Class and any associated benefits (CEs or group supervision hours)without refund.

8. Intellectual Property

8.1 All Class materials, including but not limited to videos, handouts, and assessments, are the intellectual property of the Provider and may not be reproduced, shared, or used outside the Class without written permission.

8.2 The Student is granted a limited, non-transferable license to use the materials solely for personal educational purposes during the 12-month term.

8.3 The Class is provided "as is," and the Provider does not guarantee specific outcomes, including the awarding of CEs or licensing credits.

10. Amendments

10.1 The Provider reserves the right to amend these Terms at any time with notice to the Student. Continued participation in the Class after such notice constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

11. Acknowledgment

11.1 By enrolling in the Class, the Student acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
