It takes time and repetitive reinforcement for the subconscious mind to accept the new identity with this new weight the person aims for. Weight loss is one of the hardest issues to treat but hypnotherapy definitely works when used in the long term. In the sessions, we aim to approach it from various angles to ensure success, like breaking the routines, healing the emotional causes to finding alternative healthy behaviors that provided the person with the same outcome they are getting from emotional eating so the subconscious and the person can work together as a harmonious whole permanently. Research shows that, in order to achieve permanent weight loss, a client needs at least 12 consecutive sessions booked either weekly or fortnightly. After the first 6 sessions, we assess whether more sessions are required.
