California State Park Interpreters will take students on a virtual journey to discover the sand dune habitat at Oceano Dunes State Vehicular Recreation Area. These dunes are part of the Guadalupe-Nipomo Dunes Complex and are home to many different plant and animal species, along with various recreational opportunities to enjoy. Students will learn the process of dune formation and how plants and animals have adapted to live in the sometimes harsh coastal dune environment.
