Christian County Health Department

Christian County Health Department will be administering COVID19 vaccines to anyone 18 years or older at the Christian County Health Department on Thursdays to anyone 18 years or older.

You WILL NOT be charged any out of pocket expense for the vaccine.

Only those individuals receiving the vaccine should enter the Christian County Health Department unless patient needs additional assistance. Please enter in the front lobby of CCHD. Please note that vaccine appointments will be opened based on the number of vaccines allocated that week. This may vary and appointments may change based on vaccine availability. Masks must be worn to enter the facility. If receiving a 2nd, 3rd, or booster dose please bring your vaccine card to verify prime doses.

THIRD DOSES FOR IMMUNOCOMPROMISED INDIVIDUALS:

The 3rd dose of the Moderna & Pfizer vaccines are intended for immunocompromised individuals who meet the following criteria:

- Active treatment for solid tumor or cancer
- Receipt of solid organ transplant
- Moderate or severe primary immunodeficiency
- Advanced or untreated HIV infection

- Active treatment with high-dose corticosteroids


PFIZER & MODERNA BOOSTERS:

•Must be 6 months after the completion of the initial vaccine series

18 years or older

JANSSEN BOOSTER GUIDANCE:
  • The use of a single booster dose of the Janssen COVID-19 may be administered at least 2 months after completion of the single dose series
•The same product that was used for the primary series should be used for the booster. If that is not available or another product is preferred, boosting with a single dose of any of the authorized COVID-19 vaccine boosters is acceptable.
