This is the first in a series of 5 visits over a 6 week period that is structured to address symptoms of chronic insomnia using cognitive behavioral techniques. It is suitable for patients who are trying to avoid medications as well as patients that are trying to wean off of sleep medications. It improves sleep in 75-80% of insomnia patients and reduces or eliminates sleeping pill use in 90% of patients. This is a physician led cohort shared medical group that is typically billed to insurance.
