Students will experience the history of citrus from its origins to present day in a period setting replicating the height of the citrus industry in the Riverside area. As students embark on a guided hike and museum tour, they will learn how California’s second gold rush (citrus) helped shape and develop California today. Additionally, students will experience the broad diversity of citrus fruit through enjoying an on-site citrus tasting. Maximum capacity is 70 students per field trip.
