This appointment is to verify identity to apply for a Class D or Class M Permit (both Standard and RealID). Applicant must be 16 years of age or older to start the permit process. Review the online Driver Permit requirements on Mass.Gov website. Bring in all required paperwork to your Step 1 appointment. Step 2's appointment can be booked any time AFTER Step 1's appointment has been completed.
