Welcome to the appointment system for the Labs at DC Public Library located at the modernized Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial Library. This system may be used for internal staff offerings at MLK Library.
Participation in Labs activities in the Dance Studio, Fabrication Lab, Memory Lab and Studio Lab requires completing a Labs Participant Release Form and an equipment, service, or space intro. Completing the Labs Participant Release Form requires having an active DC Public Library Card and a valid government issued photo ID.
Age Restrictions: All of the Labs spaces are designated
for use by persons aged 13 and older. Children between 6-12 must be
accompanied by a parent or legal guardian at all times, and all children under 18 must have a legal guardian sign a Labs release waiver. Children under 6
are prohibited from the Labs.
If appointments are not available, the event is full or not yet open for registration. The schedule only shows the next 30 days. You may schedule up to 2 appointments per month per equipment, service, or space.
