Adult Hand Building - Heart Trinket Box

These swoon worthy heart-shaped trinket boxes are a delight to create! In this adult handbuilding workshop, you'll use slab and coil techniques to craft your box and finish it off with personalized decorative textures. We provide each student with up to 2lbs of clay and include first firing. Glazing cost is extra. Additional clay and firing can be purchased. Ages 16+. Great for beginners!

Imagine sipping coffee on a slow winter morning from your very own handmade mug. Our instructor will teach the foundational basics of hand building a mug. Individual Class- Beginning/Intermediate Pottery Wheel for Adults

Meets 1 time for 2-hours. Learn beginning pottery wheel techniques and build your experience with each class. Enjoy a fun, structured environment. Finish your work by glazing in our paint area for an additional charge. Up to 3 lbs of clay and first firing included. Each student can keep up to 2 pieces. Ages 16 years old & up.
We do not offer refunds after registration and any rescheduling needs to be done no less than 24 hours of your class.

Clay for Two- Pottery Wheel & Hand Building Adult Workshop

1 hour 30 minutes @ $130.00

Our popular clay dates are a great experience! During this instructor led time, you will each be guided in the process of making a hand built project and a piece on the pottery wheel! No experience is necessary and we will be with you along the way! We will be working with clay and it can be messy and fun! Price is all inclusive. You can bring your favorite beverage in a closed container. Please note: We do not offer refunds after registration or do any rescheduling within 24 hrs of the workshop.

Private Pottery Wheel One to One (per person, per hour)

1 hour @ $85.00

During this private pottery session you will be able to specify your goals and fine tune your pottery skills. Jennifer Goemaat, owner of Mud Hen Clay and Art Studio will be available and work with you during this time.
Clay (up to 2 lbs), glaze and firing are included. This time is for one person and is per hour. An additional person and time can be added for an additional charge. There are no refunds after registration and no rescheduling within 24 hours of your time.

Parent and Me Art Workshop

This is a 1-hour themed session inspired by the story of the week and offers changing activities like clay, pottery painting or art. On Nov. 8th Leaf Dish. Nov. 15th Pinch Pot Turkey. Nov. 22th Pinch Pot Christmas Tree. Enjoy creative bonding time in a fun, structured environment! All materials included. Ages 2-6 year olds. This registration is for one child and their adult.
We do not offer refunds after registration and do any rescheduling within 24 hours of your class.

What better way to kick off the new year than by saving money? In this mixed-age handbuilding workshop, you'll create your own piggy bank. Our skilled and friendly instructors will guide you step-by-step through the process-combining pinch pots, adding legs, ears, eyes, a coin slot, and even carving a hole in the belly for easy money withdrawals. We provide each student with up to 2lbs of clay . Wet glazing is included. Ages 7+. Homeschool grades 2nd +.

$199 Monthly Unlimited Open Studio. Experience required. Completion of our monthly 4-week class is required. Open Studio Hours are subject to change but are available during studio business hours. During classes some areas may not be available. We do not allow anyone to teach in our studio other than Mud Hen Staff.
This option includes one bag of clay to start, a half kiln shelf of firing every 2 weeks and a half shelf space for storage. You may use studio tools or bring your own. Glaze is on your own. Please contact Jen with any questions! You do not need to reserve a time online but can call ahead.
Auto renews Monthly. You will need to cancel 15 days prior to renewal date. We also have a walk-in hourly rate available at $15/hour!
