In-Home Private Session

We'll come to you to help you address your training goals in the comfort of your home or public location of your choosing. After your first session, we do have packages available for additional savings. We recommend meeting with your trainer weekly for maximum benefit.

Virtual Private Session (with Liv)

Work one-on-one with a certified Clickstart trainer from anywhere in the world over Zoom. Each session is 60 min. and you will receive a recording of your session as well as any relevant resources and step by step instructions to help you achieve your goals. Package pricing is available.

Behavior Evaluation (on Zoom)

This evaluation is 60 min. and will take place on Zoom. Your certified and experienced Behavior Consultant will take a thorough history, provide recommendations for immediate relief and will discuss with you the best training plan for moving forward.

Behavior Modification Private Session with Cassie

Dogs presenting with more severe behavioral challenges require the expertise of an experienced Behavior Consultant. Cassie, Clickstart's certified behavior consultant, CBCC-KA, has over 7 years experience working through fearful, anxious, reactive, and aggressive behaviors using a variety of effective positive reinforcement-based techniques.

Please ensure you've completed your Behavior Evaluation or Reactive Rover Recovery prior to scheduling a Behavior Modification Private session.

Behavior Modification Private Session with Liv

1 hour @ $250.00

Service Dog Consult

• Learning more about owner-training a service dog
• Resources for selecting an appropriate service dog candidate

This evaluation is 60 min. and will take place on Zoom. Liv, your Atlas Certified Service Dog Trainer, will discuss with you your current needs and pain points and will help come up with a collaborative training plan for your service dog goals!

Agility 1: Obstacles

5 hours @ $250.00

This 5-week intro to Agility course is open to all dogs over 4 months - No prior agility experience needed. This is a low-to-no-impact class that is suitable for all ages, activity levels, and breeds. However, your dog must be able to work comfortably around other dogs.

Learn the foundations of agility, including how to move together as a team and complete obstacles with confidence. You and your dog will develop trust, get some exercise, and have fun learning new skills!

Agility 2: Handling

5 hours @ $250.00

Pre-Requisite: Agility Foundations with Clickstart or trainer approval.
This is a low to no impact class that is suitable for all ages, activity levels, and breeds.

We're going to continue gaining confidence with performing the obstacles and introduce new handling skills to direct your dog through the course.

Agility Tutoring

1 hour @ $145.00

Enjoy our expert agility instructor's, Alex Dowdall, undivided attention with a private coaching session specifically dedicated to the sport of Agility! Use the hour to get introduced to the sport and our instructor, to troubleshoot what you've already learned, or to dive into more advanced and nuanced exercises.

Puppy Academy

4 hours @ $185.00

Drop your puppy off at Clickstart Academy for FOUR hours of training, socializing, resting, and confidence building. We cap each Puppy Academy Day at 4 puppies so each one can have a quality experience while learning alongside their puppy friends.

Puppies must be between 8-16 weeks old in order to attend.
If they're older and fully vaccinated please look at our Adventure Camps.

Dog Academy

3 hours @ $185.00

Drop your dog off at Clickstart Academy for THREE hours of training, socializing, resting, and confidence building. We cap each Academy Day at 2 dogs so each one can have a quality experience while learning alongside their dog friends.

Dogs must be between over 16 weeks old and fully vaccinated in order to attend.

College - Starts Monday January 13th at 7pm

Clickstart's College courses are designed for teams ready to take their training to the next level. We will be building on your skills to add distance, duration, and distraction into your existing toolbox. This class will prepare you for real world challenges broken down into simple games.

Dogs 12 months and older who have completed High School are eligible.

This drop-in style workshop is all about teaching the elusive “off switch.” Whether your dog has a hard time settling at home or in public, this workshop will cover skills to help them slow down, take a breath, and relax. We will review stationary skills, mat work, building relaxation and more.

Polite Greetings Drop-In Workshops

Loose Leash Walking Drop-In Workshop

If you’re looking for more connection with your dog on your walks, our Loose Leash Walking drop-in workshop is for you! We will give you and your dog a robust toolbox of skills to troubleshoot issues including pulling on leash, navigating distractions, fading out treats, and more.

Nosework Drop-In Workshop

Trick Training Drop-In Workshop

This drop-in is designed to help you discover the joy of teaching your dog tricks! We'll cover a variety of fun tricks and cater the workshop to each student's experience level and goals. Whether your dog has their AKC Trick Titles or is new to learning tricks, we will ensure this class is both fun and challenging for you.

Elementary School - Starts Saturday January 11th at 2pm

Elementary School is a 4-week, closed-enrollment group class for fully vaccinated puppies aged 4-6 months old.

Elementary School covers the Canine Essential skills (sit, down, settle/place, stay, come, leave it, and loose leash walking) as well as age-related troubleshooting. At this age, it is common to be working through excited jumping, countersurfing, eating everything off the floor, and leash pulling, zigzagging or biting. Learn how to navigate these pain points and more in Elementary School!

Walk with Cassie & Ariyah - Mornings in Aliso Viejo

This casual walk is designed for pups who are looking for a neutral or friendly pup to help their dog socialize and to practice their training skills with. Trainer Cassie & Ariyah (her 3 year old Husky Shepherd mix) are out on the trails every morning. This is your chance to tag along! Please coordinate with Cassie about what set up will be most productive for your pup.

Social Butterfly Walks at Serrano Creek Park in Lake Forest

These walks are designed for our very social pups over the age of 6 months. They will get to greet and play with other dogs in a safe and fun way! They will also learn how to exercise neutrality near other dogs by practicing their settling, sniffing, and dismissing each other.

Location: Serrano Creek Lake Forest
Paved path options as well as dirt trails. Mostly flat with some inclines. May cross paths with other dogs and horses.

Clickstart Beach Day - 12/17 - Laguna Beach (Main Beach)

Join us on a field trip to the beach with your pups! Ideally your pup enjoys the presence of other dogs, the sand, and maybe even a swim! Please bring a towel, water bowl, treats, regular 6ft leash and long line leash option. Be aware you may be getting wet and you’re welcome to bring a swimsuit for yourself.

Clickstart's Campus Anniversary Hike! - 12/29 - San Juan Capistrano (Join for FREE)

Help us celebrate 1 year of having the Clickstart Campus open by joining this special field trip with your pup!
This 2 hr Field Trip is designed for pups 6 months or older that enjoy the presence of other dogs.
Be aware that we may run into horses on this trail. We may also explore the creak bed if it's flowing!

Social Butterfly Walk and Patio Outing in Lake Forest

These walks are designed for our very social pups over the age of 1years old. They will get to greet and play with other dogs in a safe and fun way. After an hour walk we will then go practice our patio exercises at a local Bagel and Brew restaurant.

Paved path options as well as dirt trails. Mostly flat with some inclines. May cross paths with other dogs and horses.

High School is a 6-week, closed-enrollment group class for adult dogs 24 months+ or Middle School graduates.

High School covers the Canine Essential skills (sit, down, settle/place, stay, come, leave it, and loose leash walking) with a special focus on loose leash walking in the presence of distractions. Now that your dog is of mature age, you can begin working toward fluency of each cue under a variety of conditions. This class is a pre-req for College (our AKC CGC Prep class).

Clickstart’s Masters course is for our advanced students who want to practice their skills in novel and challenging environments. This class is designed to prepare you and your dog for the upper level AKC titles of CGC Community Canine and CGC Urban Canine, and will take place out and about at the Irvine Spectrum. Dogs 12 months and older who have completed Clickstart's College program are eligible.

Middle School - Starts Tuesday January 7th at 5:30pm

Middle School is a 4-week, closed-enrollment group class for adolescent dogs 6-24 months old or Elementary School graduates.

Middle School covers the Canine Essential skills (sit, down, settle/place, stay, come, leave it, and loose leash walking) in new and more challenging ways as well as age-related troubleshooting. At this age, it is common to be working through social frustration, vocalizations, leash pulling, restlessness, fixating on distractions, and generally getting ignored.

Learn the fundamentals of nose work and teach your dog the joy of searching together as a team. This entry level class develops your dog's focus, confidence, and drive to search for their food reward. Whether you want to try K9 Nose Work to have fun with your dog or to compete in dog sports down the road this class will get you started.

LVL 2 - Skilled Sniffers - Starts January 4th at 7pm

Take your dog's scent work to the next level!

Pre-Req: LVL 1 Beginner Sniffers or explicit trainer approval.

This class will:
- Introduce Exterior and Vehicle searches
- Increase the difficulty and complexity of food searches
- Further develop your dog's confidence and problem solving skills
- Hone your ability to "read" your dog and identify key searching behaviors
- Prepare your dog for target odor searches in Level 3 - Intro to Odor.

LVL 4 - Continuing Sniffers - Starts Saturday January 4th at 5:30pm

Pre-Req: LVL 3 Intro to Odor or explicit trainer approval.

This level is for teams who have been introduced to NACSW target odors and are familiar with hunting for Birch, Anise, and Clove, either paired or unpaired. Class is geared to match the levels and goals of each team. Exercises cover concepts and skills needed to succeed in various levels of NACSW trials, from preparing for your first Odor Recognition Test (ORT) all the way through NW3 level and beyond.

Nose Work Orientation

1 hour

Before your first nose work class, we require the completion of our complimentary 60 min. on-campus Nose Work orientation. The goals of this orientation are to:
• familiarize students with the sport of nose work
• explain class flow and structure
• review class logistics for a smooth first day of class

Please do *not* bring your dog to orientation. This is a human-only learning event.

Nose Work Tutoring

Enjoy our expert nose work instructor's, Mara Clare Van Valzah's, undivided attention with a private coaching session specifically dedicated to the sport of Nose Work! Use the hour to get introduced to the sport and our instructor, to troubleshoot what you've already learned, or to dive into more advanced and nuanced exercises.

Office Hours (Make up class or extra tutoring)

45 minutes @ $65.00

Whether you missed one of your group classes or just want some extra practice, Office Hours are here to help! Schedule an Office Hour session that works for you and one of our trainers will cover the exact curriculum of the class you missed or the material you wish to get some more practice with.

Other teams may be in your Office Hour for the added benefit of practicing around distractions, just like in your group class.

Patio Pups - Starts Monday January 27th at 5:30pm

4 hours @ $225.00

If you've ever wanted your dog to join you at the local coffee shop or brewery, this is the class for you! In this specialty four week course, you and your dog will build all of the specific skills for a fun and stress-free patio experience. Upon graduation, you will be eligible to join our Patio Field Trips to local places such as Docent brewery, the Scoop Deck in the harbor, and more!

Dogs who have completed High School or equivalent are eligible.

Pet Tech CPR & First Aid Certification Workshop

5 hours @ $125.00

CPR And First Aid For Your Pets:

4.5 hour class including CPR techniques, first aid skills, health care and wellness information for dogs and cats.

Additionally, the class includes our PetSaver® 40-page handbook and upon successful completion, each participant will receive a certification card.

Whether you're a pet professional or a pet guardian, sometimes the unexpected happens… Will you be prepared to take action when it does?

PhD - Dogtorate Class - Starting Jan 5th at 1pm

Clickstart’s PhD Dogtorate class is designed for teams preparing for service dog or therapy dog work. Our curriculum includes criteria from the ADI Public Access Test as well as the Pet Partners Therapy Dog Test. Each class will take place in a different pet-friendly location, with heavy emphasis on generalizing skills around novel distractions. Dogs 15 months and older who have completed Clickstart's Masters program are eligible.

Puppy Kindergarten!

Reactive Rover Recovery - Starts Monday January 6th at 5:30pm

At Clickstart, every reactive dog starts with our Reactive Rover Recovery
6-week group class on Zoom. This virtual class is essential for building a strong training foundation before working through your dog’s triggers in person.

Each 90-minute class includes 60 minutes of lecture on the science of
reactivity and video examples of practical exercises, followed by 30 minutes of live, on-camera practice with your dog for immediate feedback from your certified Behavior Consultant.
