Visiting Nurse Service & Hospice of Suffolk is administering flu vaccines manufactured by Seqirus from their administrative office at 505 Main Street in Northport, NY. Please arrive no more than 5 minutes before your scheduled appointment time.

FLUCELVAX TRIVALENT 2024-2025 formula manufactured by Seqirus. It is an inactivated influenza vaccine (IIV3) indicated for active immunization for the prevention of influenza disease caused by influenza virus subtypes A and types B contained in the vaccine.

It is approved for use in persons 6 months of age and older. The VNSHS opts not to give the influenza vaccine to anyone who is under 19 years of age.

Adjuvanted FLUAD TRIVALENT 2024-2025 Formula manufactured by Seqirus. It is an inactivated influenza vaccine (IIV3) indicated for active immunization for the prevention of influenza disease caused by influenza virus subtypes A and types B contained in the vaccine. It contains the MF59® Adjuvant to the influenza vaccine which is designed to strengthen, broaden, and lengthen the duration of the immune response.

It is approved for use in persons 65 years of age and older.

**Important Payment Information**

VNSHS is only billing Medicare Part B and Traditional Medicaid as payment.

If you have a Medicare Advantage Plan, Medicaid Managed Care or private insurance you are responsible for payment in full at the time of the vaccination (credit card or check); you will receive proof of vaccination and payment that you can submit to your insurance to be reimbursed for the cost of the vaccine.

The 65 and over vaccination is $170 and the under 65 vaccine is $130.
