Welcome to the appointment system for the Labs at DC Public Library located at the modernized Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial Library.

Participation in Labs activities in the Dance Studio, Fabrication Lab, Memory Lab and Studio Lab requires completing a Labs Participant Release Form and an equipment, service, or space intro. Completing the Labs Participant Release Form requires having a valid DC Public Library Card and unexpired government-issued photo ID.

If appointments are not available, the event is full or not yet open for registration. The schedule only shows the next 30 days. Please limit yourself to 2 appointments per month per equipment, service, or space.

DIY Digital Series: Intro to Podcasting (Online)

Register for this one-hour-long workshop to learn more about the art of podcasting. The workshop is for beginners and those who are interested in podcasting as a form of storytelling. The workshop is divided into two parts. In the first part, the instructor will cover "theory" and answer the questions: Who, Why, How? In the second part of workshop, the instructor will demonstrate how to create and publish podcasts with Anchor, a free online tool. Space is limited. Registration is required.
