These rates are for student moves, apartments and houses. Commercial clients and heavy equipment or specialty items may be subject to different rates. For larger homes (>2,500sqft), homes valued above 1M, if you have >100 boxes or any specialty moves, please email John@BrawnyMovers.com

We have multiple crews and you are welcome to book any time listed as available, however house moves must be started by 10:00AM. Please keep in mind that our staff often start at 7:00AM and while we are often ahead of schedule, any bookings made after 9:00AM have potential for delays.
Certain times may be listed unavailable due to our website's limit on multiple simultaneous moves [you can still email us: CustomerService@BrawnyMovers.com to see if we can still accommodate but it is very unlikely for household moves].

We have 7 popular moving services that may interest you.
1) Labour-only [aka "You rent a truck, we provide the muscle"]; two movers are $170/hr with a 2 hour minimum charge plus HST. Each additional mover would be $85/hr+HST. For household moves, please consider 3-4 movers, unless we are only moving the furniture. We do not offer an option with only 1 mover. Blankets and floor protection will NOT be included with this bare bones service.
2) Two movers with a 16' box truck [ideal for up to a 2 bdrm apartment] has a 3 hour minimum charge of $555+HST with each additional hour billed at $185+HST.
3) Three movers with a 26' box truck [ideal for regular 2 to 4 bedroom household moves]. Four hour minimum of $1,100+HST with each addition hour billed at $275+HST.
4) Four movers with two 16' box trucks = 4 movers and 33'2" of truck [ideal for FASTER household moves]. Four hour minimum of $1,480+HST, with each additional hour billed at $370+HST.
5) Furniture assembly. Email: CustomerService@BrawnyMovers.com for a custom quote by forwarding your IKEA / store receipt and address.
6) Student Moves (must email us 30+ days beforehand for a reduced rate)
7) Furniture Deliveries. Please email us the details (items, addresses/areas, preferred time frames).

Our trucks are fully equipped with clean blankets, shrink wrap, dollies, straps and basic hand tools. After the minimum charge, we bill to the nearest 15 minute increment [Ex.4hrs16mins is billed as 4.25hrs, not 5 hours].

A typical apartment load or unload is completed within 2-3 hours with 2 of our movers. If you are looking to load then unload elsewhere, consider 4 to 6 hours, plus the travel time. Unloading into a storage unit that requires use of carts and elevators unfortunately doubles the time [due to the number of trips]. Similarly, extra time is also required for buildings with stairs,
obstacles, small elevators or storage units that require unloading to
carts and using elevators.
Client preparedness and the volume of items to move are often the largest influences on how long your move will take. Please be fully packed and minimize the number of loose items. If you colour code the sides of your boxes, we can move them in to their proper rooms faster.

*The times listed are typical for just a load or unload. Please keep in mind that the size of the elevator and distance to the truck adds time. If using storage where carts are required to get to the unit, this effectively doubles the regular unload time.
On the day of your move, additional time will be billed at the same hourly rate pro-rated to the nearest 15 minute increment. If we are supplying the vehicle for a move outside of London, please note that any time to travel away from and back to London is charged [as the truck is in use and the movers are being paid].
Should you require a heavy item moved (above 250lbs), please contact us in advance as another rate may apply.
