Welcome to the Registration page for Sacred in the Round, in pre-pandemic times known as, Stepping Stone Yoga Studio! During our Outdoor Yoga Deck & Canopy Season we are located at 16 Iris Lane in Jeffersonville, Vermont with Moosehead Mountain (a.k.a. Mt. Mansfield) as our backdrop.
We are truly honored to be offering you a well-rounded experience in such a scenic Vermont location on the 30-foot octagonal deck under the beautiful canopy.
If you have already read through the following important information, then scroll down to our offerings to register. Registration is required ahead of time to ensure you save your spot at your choice class.
Our pricing
Aside from the overall experience and quality guidance you will receive from our offerings, our costs reflect the continued need to fund the beautiful pavilion canopy, as well as, the seasonal maintenance for the octagonal deck. We also offer a community class once per month at a reduced rate and a fun, family-friendly donation event bi-weekly.
Financial Assistance
If you would like to practice with us but cannot afford to do so under the market economy, under specific and mutual agreement, you may apply to our Barter Scholarship for partial or full payment.
Sliding Scale Model
Here at Sacred in the Round we also embrace the economical exchange concept of "pay as you are able to" and, therefore, provide a Sliding Scale option and payment plans for some of our major offerings.
Under this model, those with access to more resources are therefore able to choose the highest-priced option which helps contribute to those who must rely on the lower-priced options.
Ways You Can Participate
"After the pandemic forced me to close our indoor studio space and after the first few seasons on the deck without having the canopy arrive yet (another pandemic-related cost), I took a maternity leave. During this time "away", and behind the scenes, I have put a lot into making this outdoor practice space come to fruition again and to ensure the canopy arrived before restarting the outdoor season. As we near the Summer of 2023, I am eager to re-start regular practice with this community again without interruption. I am happy to announce that I feel comfortable heading into a regular schedule without the need to cancel class due to the cover of our canopy!
However, in order to secure the outdoor season continues to fruit these wonderful experiences, it must function properly. Therefore, aside from registering for an offering (down below), you can also enroll as a patron or you can bring a donation to class (and you can still donate here!). Be sure to check out our month-long Yoga Challenges as these will help motivate your practice and keep our offerings afloat. I am also taking a handful of private clients this season, so sign-up for a one-on-one to receive extra guidance with me.
I am thoroughly looking forward to be in the now and in-person with you all!
Peacefully,
Pippa Dorfman
Comfort Measures Checklist:
-Register for a class ahead of time to save your spot (scroll down to register!);
-Bring a Yoga mat (or two for those with sore knees);
-Bring a full water bottle and appropriate clothing (which includes layers at times) for the weather and time of day;
-Optional blanket for Savasana and/or other props that your body might need (blocks, strap, bolsters).
-Although with the canopy providing shelter from the elements, we are still an outdoor space, and, though we do provide non-toxic bug repellent, at certain times of the season bugs can be more intense and suggest that you put your own bug repellent on prior to class.
