Socialize your puppy during the most crucial developmental period of 8-20 weeks. Join us for a fun, educational hour dedicated to helping your puppy grow to be the best possible canine companion! Class meets weekly on a drop-in basis--you just need to check in beforehand! Please note, you must provide vet records and our class questionnaire before your first session. No children under 12 at playgroup please.

Focusing on low arousal, maintaining control, supporting healthy interactions and building friendships is what we are all about!

Come teach your dog some new tricks! This class is a great introduction to the world of trick training. Using a variety of positive techniques, we'll learn new tricks and practice good training skills. This class is for dogs who are just starting out in tricks!

Rally Obedience is a super fun way to work on obedience after you and your dog have the basics down. Courses are set up with a series of obedience commands listed on signs. Work your way through the course, performing each command when you reach the sign. For over-achievers, you can even be timed to see how fast you and your dog can get through the course! This class will teach you all of the novice signs (commands), how to navigate a course, and more!

Is your dog a good citizen? Show everyone that they have the manners to be polite and respectful while out and about by earning their Canine Good Citizen (CGC) title! The CGC is a 10 item test designed to evaluate your dog in a variety of real life situations, such as loose leash walking and greeting a friendly stranger.  Any dog can be a CGC, and passing the test grants them a title certificate from the American Kennel Club.  Our CGC class is designed to help you prepare for the test. 

This class is an opportunity to practice a series of skills in a sequential order. This gives the handler and dog the chance to build precision, fluency and confidence. The skills are a routine series of obedience exercises. Prerequisite: Advanced Foundations or approval from Elise

Rent our training room and have full access to an obedience-sized competition size ring, all the equipment for competition obedience, fitness equipment, toys, Great Mats flooring for not slipping, climate control (it's still an old barn though, folks!) and more.

All dogs must be vaccinated with rabies, DHPP, bordetella and have had a clean fecal within six months. We expect owners to respect the property and clean up after themselves and their dogs.

Join us for two fun-filled hours to celebrate your dog's progress with swimming and dock diving over the summer. For dock jumpers, you can purchase the number of jumps you'd like and at the end of the day we'll have prizes for the furthest jumps. For swimmers, we'll have a speed competition. When you sign up, put the number of jumps and/or speed swims in the quantity box.

You CANNOT book a lesson without a consultation first! If you have not completed a consultation, please go back and schedule that.

Lessons are 50 minute sessions combining hands-on work with the dog, coaching the owner, and discussion. Lessons can only be scheduled if you've previously discussed this with your trainer and/or you've already completed an initial consultation.

The holidays are coming, and this can mean lots of opportunities for your dog to socialize and get presents—but also to jump up on an elderly relative, steal treats, and generally cause mayhem! This two week class is designed to help you and your dog practice the skills needed to have a smooth holiday season. You’ll work on polite greetings, impulse control, and management techniques and tips to make it through so you and your dog can have the best holiday season possible!

Farm Dog Certified tests are conducted in a real farm environment, with real livestock. There are twelve test items, all of which must be completed successfully to pass the test (see AKC site for test items). When you are confident that your dog is able to pass the Farm Dog Certified test, you can take the test under two judges and end up with your Certification!
