Appointments must be scheduled at least 24 hours in advance. If you need immediate assistance with a technical issue, please contact the Canvas Help Desk.

NOTE: Appointment times are tentative until confirmed. You will receive an email confirming availability prior to the scheduled time. Additionally, all meetings and workshops will be held virtually via Zoom. A link will be sent out to you via email. If you do not receive a Zoom link by the day of your appointment, contact oid@docs.rutgers.edu

Meet with an instructional technologist to discuss the best ways to use Canvas and other tools in your teaching, or to explore creative approaches to complex technology challenges.

Course Design Consultation

Discuss ideas for designing a new online, hybrid, or face-to-face course, revising and improving an existing course, or creating engaging learning experiences for your students.

Assessment Consultation

1 hour

Discuss effective online assessment strategies that authentically measure student learning, or explore how to align program, course, and module level goals throughout your activities and assessments.

Accessibility Consultation

1 hour

Discuss ways to make your course (including documents, videos, and images) more accessible to all learners, review your course for any potential accessibility barriers, and incorporate Universal Design for Learning to make your teaching more inclusive.
