To pre-approve insurance, please go HERE FIRST. I cannot accept insurance that is not approved through The Lactation Network. In order to request an insurance pre-approved appointment, you must have approval from TLN. (If you feel you need to secure an appointment slot before approval, please choose the self-pay option. If approval is received prior to your appointment, your payment will be refunded.)
Once you have requested an appointment time, you will receive an email asking you to CONFIRM the appointment by completing the Intake Form linked in the email. Your Intake Form MUST be completed the day before the appointment or your appointment will be postponed. Please set aside a few moments to fill out your Intake Form so we can see each other promptly!
For virtual appointments, please plan to be in a private location with good WIFI, with your cell phone, tablet, or laptop so we can see and hear each other well.
Please also plan for baby to be ready to eat (but not frantic) at the appointment time. Have a list of your questions ready; we will tackle them starting with the most urgent in the time we have set aside . Please understand that complex issues may require more than one appointment to address.
