Please make sure to read this information before scheduling your appointment.
Pets that have a history of seizures, a grade 4 or higher heart murmur, or a severe flea/tick infestation will be denied surgery. If your pet has an underlying medical condition or regularly takes medication (not monthly flea/tick/heartworm prevention), please email medical@sahumane.org prior to scheduling an appointment.
Pets that show signs of aggression and are deemed not safe for staff to handle at intake will be denied.
Scheduling for Leeu Naylor Medical Building:
Dates when S/N appointments will be made available (last Monday of every month at 9 am (CST) unless otherwise stated): Monday: January 30, February 27, March 27, April 24, May 29, June 26, July 24, August 28, September 25, October 30, November 27, December 22
The calendar is only opened one month at a time. We have a limited number of appointments each month.
The calendar is limited to accepting a set number of large dogs and female animals per day as we have a limited amount of space to house these types of animals in recovery. If you are unable to schedule an appointment for multiple dogs or female animals in one day, try reducing the number of appointments you're scheduling.
If you would like to schedule more than one appointment, each appointment will need to be scheduled separately.

IMPORTANT: The following code must be used ZIPFY2023 at checkout or you will be charged the full price
This opportunity requires documentation for proof of zip code (eg, driver's license or utility bill), please bring it with you when you drop off the animal on surgery day.
Payment:
Credit cards, cash, and check will be accepted. Care Credit will not be accepted.
No-shows or cancellations later than 48-hour notice are nonrefundable and nontransferable.
Appointments must be canceled or rescheduled 48 hours before surgery for the deposit to be refunded.
Surgery fees are non-refundable.

Please refer to your confirmation email for your check-in time.
Pick-up time will be announced during check-in by the surgery staff, but know that pick-up is the same day, typically between 3:30 pm - 4:30 pm. Please arrive at the time instructed. If you are late to pick up your pet, you will be charged a $45 fee. We are not a boarding facility.
