1. Parenting After Separation/Parenting After Separation High Conflict (PAS/PASHC) Workshops - FREE
PAS - Saturday 9am-4pm
A free 6-hour workshop (with one hour lunch break) offered jointly by Alberta Justice and the Court of Queen's Bench at various locations throughout Alberta. Designed to help parents understand how separation or divorce affects them and their children. It offers suggestions about how to make positive parenting choices while living apart.
• PAS is for parents who are likely to be able to parent cooperatively for the most part from two homes. (Required)
PASHC - Saturday 9am-12pm
PASHC is a free 3-hour workshop designed for parents in high conflict. Offered jointly by Alberta Justice and the Court of Queen's Bench at various locations throughout the province.
2 . Focus on Communication in Separation (FOCIS) Workshop - FREE
FOCIS - Saturday 9am-4pm
A six hour course (w/ one hr lunch break) teaching parents how to communicate effectively while living apart. FOCIS aims to enhance parents' communication skills, reduce conflict, and improve long term outcomes for children. Parents completing the course will be able to decrease tension and stress for themselves and their children by reducing conflict through improved communication and problem solving skills. Parents attend separate groups so each parent has a safe place to learn & practice new skills.
FOCIS - Tuesday & Thursday 6:15-9:15pm
FOCIS course (see details above) offered over 2 evenings within one week. Registering for the Tuesday session will automatically enroll you in the Thursday session.

One hour with Andrea LaRochelle
Spend time with Andrea to learn Proposal Focused Communication Skills, Disengage-Decide-Deliver Communication Method, BIFF Communication strategies and how to apply them to your specific co-parenting challenges. ($300/hr + GST).
