Great for companies or offices interested in learning how NYC recycles, how recycling works in general, and how to improve recycling habits both in the office and in the home. This remote tour will feature photos, videos, and graphics describing the recycling process and operations at Sims Municipal Recycling, the largest facility of its kind in the country. The fee will be used to support our NYC public school education programs.

Suitable for product designers, corporate groups, and companies interested in reviewing recyclability of one to four items. This tour will focus on how recycling works and the recyclability of your selected products. To maximize the value of this tour, visitors are encouraged to provide sample products and/or questions in advance. Fee supports our NYC public school education programs.

Suitable for product designers and corporate groups, this tour will focus on how recycling works and the recyclability of selected products. Groups may select up to ten items for review. During the presentation, a Sims educator will review the product attributes and their recyclability. After the tour, groups will be provided with a write up on product recyclability, including suggestions for improving recyclability of selected products.
