Please call the shelter at 573-443-7387 x 0 when you arrive for a staff member to meet you outside for your appointment or direct you to your appointment location. If the lines are busy when you arrive, please do not leave a voicemail. Either attempt to call again or ring the front doorbell for assistance.

As of 2022, the lobby and the meet and greet areas for scheduled appointments are open during business hours, but the animal housing areas will remain closed to the public. Most appointments will operate as curbside assistance. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

Face masks are recommended but not required while interacting with staff or other members of the public for your appointment - if you have been exposed to COVID-19 or are having systems, please reschedule your appointment.

If you are unable to make it to your appointment please make sure to cancel/reschedule it beforehand, as appointment spaces are limited.
