Getting Started with Genealogy

Starting out with discovering your family tree?

A beginner’s genealogy class helping guide you through free research resources. Computer skills are helpful to succeed in the class.
Lisa Mahler, a board member of the San Angelo Genealogical and Historical Society, will teach this class. While not required, students are strongly encouraged to bring a USB Flash Drive or their login information (username and password) for their cloud-based storage account like Google Drive, MS OneDrive, or Dropbox.
