If you wish to be reimbursed for your visit by your insurance carrier, call them before your visit—using the telephone number on the back of your insurance card—and ask how much they will reimburse you for a visit to an out-of-network provider. Although Dr. Steen does not handle insurance directly, she will give you a receipt which you can submit to your insurance carrier for reimbursement.
