BJJ Gi Fundamentals

Our fun and supportive beginners classes teach the fundamentals of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, a martial art and combat sport system that focuses on grappling and ground fighting. Our trainers focus on repetition, boosting muscle memory via simple drills which improve your skills and understanding of the sport.
Requirements:
IBJJF legal Gi (Kimono) for the Gi Class
Striking Fundamentals (Inside)
50 minutes
This class is designed for people that are interested in learning proper technical striking but do not want to be doing hard sparring with fighters.
The base style we teach from, is that of Dutch Muay Thai, which is a fusion of western boxing and muay thai and is the predominant striking base of most (not all) UFC fighters.
Requirements: Gloves (we have some to borrow for trial students), Shinpads and Mouth-guard
BJJ No-Gi Fundamentals

Our fun and supportive beginners classes teach the fundamentals of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, a martial art and combat sport system that focuses on grappling and ground fighting. Our trainers focus on repetition, boosting muscle memory via simple drills which improve your skills and understanding of the sport.
Requirements: Rashguard (preferably long sleeve) and shorts (no pockets) for the No-Gi Class
BJJ Women's Self Defence
45 minutes
This class is women's only (other than the instructor) and is similar to the Fundamentals, learnt he basics in a fun supportive class before moving into the mixed class.
A big emphasis of this class is using your legs to fight an opponent who has a stronger upper body. Hence it focuses a lot more on the guard position and strangulation’s.
BJJ Q&A
1 hour 30 minutes
This class is run Saturday mornings and is an avenue to address questions such as:
Fixing a problem that arose out of the Fundamentals classes.
Fixing an issue out of sparring/rolling.
Trying something they have seen that sparked their interest.
Through this process students are encouraged to develop their own expression of Jiu-Jitsu through trial and error with the assistance of an experienced coach.
Half the class is Q&A, drilling and half is open mat/rolling.
FREE BJJ Introduction Class
45 minutes
These classes are designed for:
👍 New beginners with no experience and/or little athletic ability.
👍 People who attended a regular class before but found them to be to advanced and overwhelming. (we know you are out there 😀)
👍 Getting you ready for the main fundamentals class.
Requirements: Loose fitting attire (covering shoulders), flip-flops, water bottle, towel.
BJJ Little Warriors (Ages 5-7)
45 minutes
Our Kids Classes help shy and timid children gain confidence and teach rowdy and energetic girls and boys respect and control.
Our classes feature an appropriate level of contact for your child’s physical development and maturity.
BJJ Warriors (Ages 8-13)
55 minutes
Our Kids Classes help shy and timid children gain confidence and teach rowdy and energetic girls and boys respect and control.

BJJ Spartans Advanced (By Invitation)
