Furniture painting 101:
When: Sunday, February11, 2018 10:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.
Where: Hunt Club-Riverside Park Community Centre, 3320 Paul Anka Dr, Ottawa, ON K1V 0J9
One of the best things about doing this work, are all the emails and questions I get from all of you aspiring painters. The questions range from what paint I use, to where I buy my knobs, what I use for drawer liners and last but not least, what topcoats I like the best. Now you can find out for yourself!
Please join me for a day of
learning and painting, where I will teach you how to
achieve the finishes I love most. After almost 5 years of painting I've learned many time saving tricks and techniques that will help you along with your own projects. We'll also have a discussion on the different products out there and why I never use wax on furniture. ;-)
After we're done with the fundamentals, we'll get busy transforming your own, small piece. Most supplies will be provided, however, you will need to bring a sample pot of paint (most paint stores and big box stores carry sample pots under $15.00) and a small piece of furniture. This should be a small table or chair. If you're not sure about the size, please email me a photo.
*Please note, a $30 non-refundable deposit will be retained for all cancellations. Cancellations must be received 24 hours before the scheduled class.*
