In preparation for the scan we would ask you to:
- Wear light clothing and empty your pockets
- Fast for a minimum of 3 hours
- Use the toilet first
- Avoid exercise before the scan
Please note, you cannot be scanned if wear a pacemaker
We would also advise to avoid scanning during your menst
